Inactive players in Vanguard Tiger Strikes. Getting too much to bear.
Not for the first time I've just finished a Vanguard Tiger strike with some absolute cnt who will stand and wait for the other 2 of us to clear each section, then follow along afterwards and wait outside the next section til we clear it. The strike took about 25 minutes when it would have taken 10 or less with the 3 of us playing properly. So what's the point? What benefit is there? It's a false economy, drawing a strike out so that you don't have to put any effort it. It's the action of a retard.
I just stood there for 30 seconds punching him and shooting him with The Vex Mythoclast once the boss died. He was dancing, so he clearly knew how much of a nob he was being and reveled in it.
All I can think is that they are doing it to easily earn the 'Finish a srike without dying bounty'
Well i just got that bounty with just the two of us. So if you suck that much that you can't get it without inacivity throughout the whole strike then you don't deserve to play. Infact you deserve to die, for being so shite at a game. fking Amateurs.
Hope they never put matchmaking on the Raid and I hope they remove matchmaking from everything except the multi.
Having said that, doing it all via Destiny LFG the same thing can happen. The other day I was in a Raid and somebody quit a team of level 30's after the first chest. There is too much focus on Co op. Bungie, get to work on some AI bots. This is the issue that'll eventually stop me playing if it's not sorted.

Had many times and is annoying also what pissed me off the other day was i was doing the nexus strike and started the Servitors area and then realised the other 2 had jumped up through a high window and bypassed the whole area leaving me 2 it.i just paced on and finished the area by myself and found them just hanging around waiting for me at the drop by the nexus,i just jumped down and carried on, just completely sucks !!

I just ran a strike on Roc and some ahole stood back and got 0 kills and was rewarded with a Hawkmoon, bungie why do you insist on rewarding people for playing poorly. (Btw if anyone is interested his Psn tag is zSwirlz please report this person if you see them doing this again. I left the playlist after he proceeded to do the same thing in the next game.)

Just mak an option to do a group vote to kick him, problem solved. Matchmaking will bring in a new player. Although last I me this happened to me , me and the other guy just kept unloading on him with doctor nope. Eventually we could hear his controller fall off the table and shatter into a million fragments. Gg afkr

I report them for being inactivate. And then try to push them off something with my sparrow. If that doesn't work I sit down next to them and go make some food

I was only kinda irritated about this until today, did a strike and cruised thru like normally with it taking a bit longer than normal but didn't think much of it Till the screen came up at the end to show that myself and another person got about 100 kills while the 3rd person in our group who I know was there the whole time and did not get in cuz of a disconnect had 2 kills and 1 assist. 2 kills... 1 assist... Was thoroughly irritated. Have seen people hang in back prolly going for the bounty to not die but even those guys get at least 30 kills. 2 kills and 1 assist. That's when I start to get pissed...

I'm done doing tiger strikes with less then 3 people. It goes by much faster with 3 people participating just like doing VOG hard raids with only 30's.. I'm hitting orbit if one person doesn't move in 20 seconds.

4 RepliesIf they don't moving in the 1st minute, I leave and launch a new strike. Problem solved... at least for me. Don't waste time and emotional energy on them. Oh, and I had one person go AFK at the boss. And, yep, I went to orbit on them.

I did this yesterday but I was watching the Jets game....btw I killed phogoth with the 8 rockets I unloaded into him when I came back.

1 ReplySometimes i start a strike then my kids....or especially if the wife wants my attention..which usually involves curling up in my lap at which point i have the option of holding controller over my head or setting it down. Or i might get a work phone call. Those 2 things are the most likely reasons for me to go afk... I could drop out of the strike but selfishley i dont want to lose the progress and i cant say for sure how long ill be dealing with wife/call Its not fair to the other team members but there are non asshole reasons for someone to b afk. Ive had people go afk on me in a strike. 2 players can finish the raid almost as quick as 3. Its hardly ever worth restarting the strike by the time u realize their afk uve already put in 5 or so minutes

They need a code in the program that recognizes person x has not damaged any monsters in darkness zone in the last 120 secs, KTO. Problem solved for all the farmers, afkers, and bounty hiders.

51 RepliesI understand your anger on AFK people in strikes. It is easy to 'Finish a srike without dying bounty' while still doing work. However, I do have some reason why people are AFK, well at least mine anyway. My reason for inactive in strikes are usually when I do the Bad JuJu bounty where you have to do 25 strikes. We all know how strike becomes extremely boring after 5-7 times in a row. So when I already complete 10 I begin to just fall apart. I would sometimes walk slowly in the whole strike or shoot random stuff or fall asleep or die on purpose and have the teammates do the rest. I know it sucks, but blame Destiny's repetitive and boring strikes.

Farm until they idle out or give up. If its just one send a message to the other real player to do likewise. Strike idlers are scum and deserve nothing for your hard work.

Just report them. They will eventually get in trouble for it. Or just leave. Or spam them with smart glass after blocking them. The list goes on.

2 RepliesMy worst experience with this was leveling my Hunter. First off, I'm deleting the shit out of my Hunter when I get the trophy for maxing the subclass. I hate this PoS. lol Secondly, I was level 9, they were both 11, and would hide in corners, back of the room, run away to the starting point, anything they could do to survive. Worst part? I also had the damn 'no dying' bounty, but I just wanted to get out of there. Please if anyone has this issue, give them a min or two to be sure then just report them for inactivity/unhelpful. Eventually Bungie will have to do something either to the players or to there systems honestly a vote to kick option would be perfect seeing as if someone leaves another can be matchmade into the game.

Give benefit of doubt for 1.5 - 2 min. Then quit and start a new strike, if you're sure current teammate(s) being afk. Yes its simple to complete solo, Just did a nightfall solo so Tiger strike isnt a problem. But that's besides the point. And the 'Finish raid without dying' bounty isn't a reason either - its reasonably simple to not die on a Tiger raid. With full team (3 players) its very easy to not die and play aggressively and smartly, its effing AI for -blam!-s sake, everyone know how it works. If I'm going to do a strike solo - it'll have to be the weekly ones, since there is no matchmaking. But quit Tiger strike if you know its not going to be wrapped in 10 min due to afk dudes.

other than the fact that iv already done them to death this is like the number 2 reason i dont do strikes any more. i would do them just for the engrams so i could level the cryptarch but i refuse to carry some dip shit who wants to stand at the beginning of the strike and beat off while i do all the work.
