A simple question to all folks who play this game. Why did you choose your class? What made you feel like that was the class for you? Do you still have it or do you rather another class since launch?.
I myself started off in the beta by choosing a hunter because I thort that they looked cool but due to an issue in the beta I had to delete 2 hunters because they were unplayable due to an issue on bungies end so I tried a Titan and had the same issue.
My last option was a warlock & since the day the game launched I have used all classes. But the night I finally got my game the warlock was my first and main choice and I haven't regretted it since. 3 months later after launch she's still sitting at the top of my 3 characters as a level 30 holding her vex mytho and looking like a badass.
That's my story now what's yours?

Warlock. Robes and space magic. Need I say more? >=)
-
I used all three classes in the beta but I liked the feel of the hunter the most
-
I chose my hunter because I thought that only hunters could use sniper rifles when I first started, then I just stuck with it because -blam!-itwhynot. I still use the hunter as my preferred main character because gunslingers are the weakest overall class in the game and I like dominating with it in all areas of the game as the least viable option.

Titans seemed like they would benefit the group most with their bubble.

2 RepliesEdited by m00ninite: 12/7/2014 5:25:03 PMTo be honest, I'm torn between them all. First and foremost I'm a hand cannon guy and I like to melee quite a bit. So I went with a Hunter first, loved it, but felt lacking as a Blade dancer. Also I don't think I'm very good with the throwing knife so I felt like I wasn't playing Gun slinger to its fullest. Warlock I fell in love with right away and still have a blast with him as he's much more diverse, but unlike the Hunter I'm not taking advantage of my precision play style so sometimes I feel like I should go back to the Gun slinger. Space magic is bad ass though and does feel far more powerful than the Hunter. Lastly gave Titan a shot recently because of my melee tendencies, but have been a little disappointed in the range of the melee attack itself, which makes me miss my other characters. The class does some other really nice things though and works nicely when I like some CQC. Don't have him totally maxed yet though so still intrigued enough to continue. TLDR: Right now for me Warlock >= Hunter > Titan Edit: Observation.. So many Hunters on the forums, but so few when I join groups? Hmm.

I have all three

I started as a hunter in the beta, I love the movement of it (double and triple jump). However, I got 2 pieces of legendary warlock gear before I got anything for my hunter, started a warlock and he took off, my warlock is now 30 and my hunter is slightly behind at 28.

I chose Titan because I love brute strength and close quarters combat. This is the only class I've used and still using

Hunter is my favorite class by far. I am a precision person, snipers, pulse rifles, handcannons, hunters just give off that precision vibe. The balance of speed, armor, recovery. Golden gun is great as well. I did start a sunsinger warlock and love playing as that as well.

Well got it the weekend it came out and TBH didn't know much about each class when was choosing my first character. Basically it was chosen based on playing previous games. Wizard classes tend to have cool magic stuff but tended to be kinda weak Titans I figured we the slow tank class So I went for hunter as it seemed like a decent compromise. Plus the capes looked awesome

I hate hunters, so they were out of the picture Titans have more health, and can help their team with the bubble!
-
Hunter for speed and stealth, fit my play style.
-
My class chose me.

"SPAAAAAACE MAAAAGIC!" ~ A sleepy Warlock
-
I chose a titan. I tend to gravitate to the slow well armoured heavy hitters in all the games I play.
-
Hunter. Snipers and lone wolf suits the type of character I wanted to create.
-
Hunter because cape
-
My friends chose hunter and Titan and I didn't wanna be the same class

1 ReplyI saw Destiny and I thought of MASS EFFECT. I loved using the biotic's character and so I choose Warlock. I miss Mass Effect ;( I wish Destiny's story was a bit more in depth and interactive.

My first character was completely made by my wife. The only games I have ever seen her play were cell phone games, roller coaster tycoon, or the SNES. She picked pretty well for not knowing warlocks were space wizards.

9 RepliesHow they jump... I could say that i just really enjoy their supers or special abilities, but nope, it came down to how they jump. I could only stand one of their jumps, titan.
-
2 RepliesI came from a long line of pc gaming. Yea I had the nes, and snes back in the day, but this is my first console not made to be a baby sitter. Strait off the bat, I knew the controller was going to be a problem. There's just something about the analog stick that I hate when compared to a mouse. So I picked a Titan. I knew I was going to die a lot. I needed a tank.

Warlock. Because I always play/favour magic classes in mmos/rpg

Been Warlock since the beta. Pyrokenis is the shi-ot!
