Cards still explain nothing. They marketed it as a MMO, when people started getting upset they started saying its not a MMO. There is no story. And the majority agrees with that statement.

People want storys in there video games so they can EXPERIENCE the story. The fact of the matter is that the story is not in the game. Reading a book for a story (it's actually cards which is even worse) and playing a game to experience a story are not the same thing and they do not appeal to the same audience. When they advertised the game they said that we would experience the story and were very clear that the story was in the game. There was never a point where they said you would have to get the story from somewhere other then the game itself or else there would have been a lot of people asking questions about that. If i wanted to get a story from nothing but reading text i would just read a book as there are beyond countless that tell a better story then their cards.
