I don't understand the uproar? Ranking weapons is easy and FREE. If you want to upgrade weapons in a game like Warframe you have to use Forma. First you have to grind for the resources and blueprints or pay for them( insert micro transactions). Then you have to wait 24 hours build time or pay for it( insert micro transactions). Then you have to grind missions to rank the weapon up or pay for an affinity booster to do it faster( insert micro transaction). This is not making your current weapons irrelevant. All max rank weapons will still be viable in the new raid and higher level weekly and nightfalls. The only place that these weapons might suffer is the Hive hard mode raid. It's an option and not a requirement to rerank your current stock.

So you say destiny in 3 months is doing what is done in 2 years in MMO's then go on to state that destiny is not an MMO and should not be treated as such, you sir have an invalid argument.

Stop telling bungie what their own game is. They'll treat it how they feel it is. It has nothing to do with you and never will. Did you make a similar post when Sony and Microsoft dropped the prices on their consoles? Complaining about things changing for late comers is irrelevant, it's retarded, and is not constructive. Just because you're a special little flower with too much time on your hands doesn't mean this game should cater to you and you alone. You want the power creep in this game to be so insane that it's impossible to overcome unless you're putting in 3+ hours a day of playtime like yourself, and you've been playing since release. That's just not how it works. Since we're pointing out "real" MMOs I'll point out the fact that with the new expansion of WoW they're adding a way to boost level 90 out of the box, because people don't want to grind relentlessly just to play with everyone else.

New weapons- YAY! New Armor- YAY! New ways to get to lvl 30- YAY! New ways to whoops ass- YAY! New Stuff- YAY! I'm not saying anything, but it seems that you've gotten your money out of it. I know this game isn't perfect, far from it, but they are actively working towards the best exp that they can give us. The TWO big item that need to be addressed is one- Trading- It would be great, but needs to implemented SECURELY, otherwise, it will break the game. My thought is clan members only, and after actively playing/being with the clan a certain amount of time. Then there is possibly loaning weapons during strikes/raids, but who knows. LFG- Well, I [b][i]DON'T[/i][/b] want "matchmaking" on my raid or nightfall. Well, not so much as just click a button and being matched by other players looking for the same. It would be nice to have a list or lobby, where you entered or listed your name, but added more info such as, have mic, exp level with raid, yadda yadda yadda. wait is it small because it doesnt contain new planets, only has 3 pvp maps, n a few low lvl story missions tht at this point most forgot the 10 lines of origibal story that shipped with the game and havent bothered to read all the crap on here for the other elements of the story...still not sharing info on this 3rd possible subclass (anyone know if they scrapped the idea of locking yourself to 1subclass for bonus?)...or was it the lack of game modes n pvp game types or u are better then all the above but still too smart to pat $35 to continue farming a new raid only for the same issues as the vault- after30+ completions u still get only CHATTERWHITE lol ah oh well il deal with the inquisition cuz DA is doing whats called free dlc not pay for whats on disc already eh il stick to the same crucible maps when I feel up to it I guess but heres hoping destiny can still be what I expected afterenough updates

Agree, the transaction here for people like us that spent hundreds of hours is. 300 hours playtime and £20 in exchange for about 5 hours worth of new content.... But wait there's more, you'll have to spend 100 hours+ repeating the same 3 hours of content to be able to enjoy the rest of the new content (hard raid). Crazy... For me it doesn't add up.

And don't you think to compensate for the small amount of launch content (on MMO standards) they should release DLC In 2 months period rather than 1 or 2 years time?
