PETITION: Bungie, reconsider removing exotic gear wipe upon expansion
With the new article on GameInformer Bungie has revealed their plan for our Exotic weapons. They plan on making it so if you want to level your Exotic weapons and gear up to the new level you have to completely wipe out ALL progress on the gear, require 7,000 glimmer, an exotic shard, and Xur's RNG system. Now I don't know about you guys but this is completely and totally unacceptable. I have spent several days playtime leveling up my gear and weapons and being forced to level them all up again is just insane and I refuse. I would absolutely rather look for another gaming experience and quit Destiny than be forced to go through all my hard earned progress again. Now you may or may not agree with that part, but surely many of you agree that having to start all over on your weapons and armor is just stupid. Please show your support and tell Bungie that we do not agree and we would like if they changed or removed this system.

3 RepliesI feel that they shouldnt even let you reset your gear. Gjallorhorn will be outclassed with the 300 max atk, heart of praxic fire will never get you to 32. /sarcasm. Thats how most game would do it so why is everyone bitching about a few more hours to keep all your exotics relevant

I hope everyone complaining realizes that we will probably be revisiting this crap with the second DLC a few months after this one. I shouldn't have preordered them when the game was released.

2 RepliesI fully understand even tho I have no exotics maxed. Why do people say you have a choice? Lol your exotic is going to be WEAKER than others. So to compete you really have no choice. It would suck if you have been collecting exotics and maxing them out lol

22 RepliesThey are not forcing you to upgrade your exotics. Tired of seeing people post the same thing. It will be an optional choice. If you choose to not upgrade our gun, it will remain the same base attack(300) however if you choose to upgrade your weapon, it will eventually, after you finish upgrading it, have a higher base attack power(323) this will help make your gun more effective in the new raid. The new upgrade for you gun will be bought from Xûr. Once bought that enables your gun to become more stronger. The penalty however, is making you restart on that gun.

This game is grind but its just enough to make me play and piss me off a little but there is no way am I gona stick around if they make it any harder. I play a lot.. But this isn't darksouls. Knock it off with the whole replay factor.. You got it! .. No one wants to level up the same gun multiple times.. Just stop it.

But Bungie didn't do those things, and there's really not enough time for them to make changes like that in the week before The Dark Below releases. "

3 RepliesDo not make us RE-Level gear from scratch just to keep it relevant. Please just add an additional tab in the items and let them keep past experience. I will tell you now Bungie I will not RE-level 3 different characters and their separate gear. I would not even do it for one character. Most of my clan will not either. We will leave this game and do something else. I work two jobs and do not want Destiny to act like another job. It's supposed to be fun. It's supposed to be a game !!
