I doubt this to be true. I had my Vex Mythoclast maxed before the update. After the update I found my Mythoclast to be at 323 damage already. So by that statement that you quoted is true, then if I were to turn in that weapon to Xur, I should receive a "brand new Mythoclast" that can be upgraded to beyond 323 damage. No, I don't think so.

You aren't good at reading patch notes obviously. Last patch they said they already raised the vex Attack.

Yes I have read the patch notes. I knew that the Vex would have a damage upgrade, and I saw it in game with my own. It just seems moot to make it have better damage when everything else is also getting the option for a damage boost up to 320. The Vex would only just be slightly better but not much.

dude if you upgrade the vex with xur it will be even better.... why would they upgrade all other exotics and not that

Damage and Attack are not the same just so you are aware. Also pretty sure they raised the attack on the vex because xur won't do anything with it, given its a raid only thing

Look, I call the number what I want to call it, that number you see on the weapon as its attack stat I call it damage. OP wanted to know if the update affects Mythoclast. I responded with No, it does not. Your attempted argument with me is pointless. There is nothing to dispute.

Well you can't educate me on what I already know. Good try though. Though comparing a spoon and fork to damage and attack is a bad analogy. An attack can cause damage and its all quantified into a rating. Spoons and forks are utensils. Lol

It wasn't bad at all. It was clearly was the same thing. Just because you call something one thing, doesn't make it true. So calling it damage all day, doesn't make it true. You are still wrong.

hey exodus, I think you will be able to upgrade the mythoclast from xur so that it will have a higher attack than the current 323

Impact is how much damage each shot does Attack rating is for what lvl you will be able to damage Is that better for you? So the higher the attack doesn't mean the higher the damage. It only shows what lvl it can do 100% damage to. Impact is what shows how much damage it will actually do. Your welcome.
