I USE POCKET INFINITY IN PvP
To all those people complaining about PI, I have one thing to say:
If it is effective, I will use it.
And I will continue to use it until it becomes... Not effective and at that point I will move on to the next effective weapon.
It's not fair, I know. But if you suck so much that you can't put on a sniper rifle and pick me off from a distance, that's your problem. But what you shouldn't do is send me messages after my team beat yours with 2x the score and call me a noob for using it.
And if it is nerfed tomorrow then I will just continue using my plan c, or found verdict, or any other "effective weapon" until you all get the message.
See you on the battlefield...

1 ReplyReal talk would you really run out in the open with a fusion rifle to get sniped? No you wouldn't. You would stick to small areas and hallways, pre charging the entire time. A more viable reasoning is using a shotgun instead of a sniper rifle, bob and weaving the bursts and getting close. This is coming from a dude who won a rumble match against everybody else clinging to their fusion rifle to dear life, while I last word their asses to victory. The fusion rifle, especially pocket infinity and plan c, are great weapons. But for God sakes if the first burst don't kill me, what makes you think the next one will?

Is it really that good? PI was my first exotic, and I hated it in PVE so I never even brought it to Crucible.

We're all out to do the best we can in PvP and PvE but other people don't like it so we have to weaken ourselves? No. Good post.

2 RepliesApparently, the only way to be a good player is to purposely use ineffective weapons. The object of crucible is to get kills. Use a gun that gets you kills. That's how the freaking game works. Everyone who whines about OP guns either needs to purposely use crappy ineffective weapons, or stfu. I guarantee all of you use weapons that you get the most kills with. Its not our fault that you've never learned to tolerate losing games while you were in Kindergarten. If you can't handle it, go cry about it. Or play a game where you can't lose. Whining about a gun because it killed you makes you look like a megabitch. Srsly. I don't always play Crucible. But when I do, I usually bring my PI for the ride. I really do not care if you think I suck or not because of it. Its a game. I will use what I want to use, and your opinion means absolutely nothing to me.

6 RepliesPI is vicious. It is the most murderous pvp weapon. I F'IN LOVE THAT BEAST! Perfect balance, full auto, "pocket infinity" = 29 kill control matches.

2 RepliesI love my PI but agree that it seems much less effective compared to pre-patch - less impact. The new charge rate feels like it has a hair trigger now and the follow up shots as part of the infinity perk seem much weaker than before. I heard that this will be addressed in the DLC on Tuesday - is this right? Would love to have it back to its original status. It was awesome in PvP!!

Me too. I love it, and I used to feel a little dirty for killing with it, but now that I have gone dead inside it just fine. Also my K\D is pure caca, so what's it matter? I'm SuperScrub!

1 ReplyI think pocket infinity is a piece of shit for pvp. I used it for one game and ran out of ammo within 3 kills. Now they have fixed the charge rate on it so it will be more useless, you'll be dead before you can even charge it. Go back to running across the room with a shotgun lol. Or maybe get good and use a primary.

1 ReplyPI is great, even with the occasional charging hitch from last patch (on 360 anyway, idk about other consoles). BladeDancer arc-blading towards you? No problem. Sunbro just revived and is about to Jesus Punch you? Nah man, just take your 5-second sit-down. Plus, if they nerf it, I've got a Plan C ready to go. To all the crybabies: fusion rifles are one of the novel aspects of this game. Plus, they're fantastic at vaporizing you, tears and all. Use effective weapons or GTFO.
