I swear to Oryx if one more bottom feeding, useless, sandbag 0.0434034030 K/D trash gets the Gjallarhorn...
The third time now I have seen the WORST player in the lobby get the Gjallarhorn. literally fed the other team kill after kill with his thumb up his ass and he gets rewarded with one of the best exotics in the game. Meanwhile my incessant backpacking of randoms gets me NOTHING like usual...
-blam!- this piece of shit reward system, I'm going to start playing with my TV turned off and my hands tied behind my back because why the -blam!- not?
And yes, before you get the smart idea to point out it's random, I know that. The main point of this post is to highlight how doing good should give you a higher chance of a good reward. People should not have the same chance for being rewarded with exotics for doing absolutely nothing helpful for their team compared to the person(s) who does all the work.

Most of the people saying it's fair or I'm crying have K/Ds below 1.0. Is there a correlation? I think so!
EDIT 2: Welcoming suggestions from people who have ideas on how to possibly make the loot system better, so it actually rewards you for doing well.
EDIT 3: No shut up meg posts yet... Am I even on the Destiny forums?

EDIT 5: Really, really, interesting idea brought up by SHADOW LEGION. http://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/2hgkcx/rng_vs_private_loot_stream/ check it out, as this could explain the [i]odd[/i] patterns a lot of us are noticing when it comes to drops.

I'm usually in the middle of the pack, really only play control and have never gotten a legendary let alone an exotic in crucible

An idea to help you get better loot is stop trying so hard and be the lowest score so you will get stuff. Problem solved

1 ReplyThat's why xur exists. So you can get the specific exotics you want eventually. I've had zero legendarys in crucible (let alone exotics) that's life. I just wait till xur sells them

It seems to me Bungie could put a quick patch on it very easily; just eliminate one of the two possible rewards for anyone with a low KD, give only two rewards to the top players. 8. You know the main reason why I avoid Crucible? Because I don't like dragging my teammates down. If I didn't give a $hit I'd be in there a lot, just so I could buy Crucible weapons. Maybe eventually I'd get better, but until then, I'd just be an anchor holding back my team.

This happened to me the other day. I'm not the best PvP player and I had an awesome game. Got nothing for it. Next game, did horrible and got some great stuff. I was annoyed for the guys who did so much better than me and got nothing.

6 RepliesI was soloing the Nightfall and Nexus had a slither of health left when a friend joined and got the fatal shot. He fired no more than 2 shots. With 1kill, he gets the G'horn and I get a legendary AR... I couldn't believe it

I wish there was a better chance for gear and weapons if you do well, it would be an incentive to keep playing crucible.

2 RepliesIt's not random, it's almost always one of the bottom 3 people who get legendarys or exotics. I've played a shit ton of crucible and maybe got 3 legendarys, 1 of which I went negative. Friend of mine also has had like 4 legendarys and 1 exotic, 2 legendarys and his exotic he went negative? Seeing the pattern? They always reward the shitty players and it pisses me off, I work my ass off, drop 34 kills in a skirmish match, 4000 of my teams 5000 score and guess what! Kid on my team gets red death where as I get absolutely nothing, not even rare items...
