Remove upgrade materials from Raid RNG
30 complete raids and still have not received...
1. Vision of Confluence
2. Preatorian Foil
3. (Pulse Rifle)
4. Hezen vengeance
5. Vex mythoclast
It's sad enough that it took me 22 complete raids before I could become a level 30. Considering the five things I still have yet to gain, I'm looking at at least 5 more raids. In actuality more like 50 more raids.
All I ask is that upgrade materials are removed from the raid RNG loot table, subsequently increasing equipment drops.
Upgrade materials are best left earned in other ways, through other economies, rather than being rewarded for completing this so called "hardest thing ever"
What are your thoughts. Does this seem like a better idea?

You all realize they won't do that and there is another raid coming where the same thing will happen all over again.

What if they just remove materials from the certain bosses? So you can still earn materials via chest and other achievements, but the templar and atheon only give equipment.

This past week was literally all shards and energy except for the one raid piece I got. 23/24 rewards....

Nah make it have a really low rng or have option of it being in rng

If your lucky you can get all of those in one run... I know someone who got the foil the timepiece and mythoclast in one run.... I was vary upset

No they need to keep the ascendant material drops your complaining about it now but when you go to upgrade you armor and you have 21 shards from the raid your going. To be happy

5 RepliesNo. If you do need upgrade materials, then the raid's a good place to get them. Instead, they should have materials and equipment be on separate loot tables and have you draw from both at the same time. Win-win for everybody. Why get one or the other when you could get both?

Around 130 completions you should have everything for everyone. I'm just missing two chest pieces and have every raid weapon.

I'd argue to leave them in. I'm 30, I just need fatebringer and and Hezen Vengeance. When I get equipment or weapons I'm disappointed because I am 30 and just want the materials to upgrade my other characters.

its a catch 22. i dont mind that they drop, but then, if weapons dropped as well, i'd dismantle for the items anyway. but atm, i really dont need weapons, what i need is energy.

My guess is D2 will not have even close to the pre-orders as this one because of the loot system. The story sucks beyond belief but Diablo's was not the best either. What separates them is the sense of accomplishment after a gameplay session. There is none in Destiny much of the time. While I did not always get what I want in Diablo I loved seeing real loot drop from bosses.

No it sounds awful. The raid is the only reliable way to get them. They should increase the drop rate on the weapons

Ascendant materials are the only reason I do the raid anymore. I don't need gear or weapons. I'm just stocking up on AMs for the next batch of gear and weapons.

Damn you have got it tough wth the RNG gods. I have only done the raid 4 times and I have gotten... Hezen Vengeance XVO time breaker Chest piece and legs Shader Vision of confluence And shards and energy

Raids are one of the few and best ways to get materials.. I don't agree with this.
