Why do people assume Crota is HUGE?
There is NOTHING to scale him to in that video.
For all we know, Crota could be 2 feet tall and the sword we destroyed was his broadsword and the one in the video was his regular one which is like the size of a butter knife to us Guardians.

5 RepliesWhat if....that mother-blam!-er in that video wasn't Crota at all, and rather a high ranking Hive Knight using the sword in that summoning circle to bring forth Crota himself. Could be a misleading video. Could be.

Whats wrong with a giant enemy we have seen before, i mean they have to be the same species right? What they could do however is give the bosses regal armour, something very flashy and intimidating. Ofcourse with phogoth and sepiks they have to do something else

Crota is actually a Dreg weiring a hive helmet. He just took that sword off of one of the many sword racks lying around the Hellmouth, and called dibs on it.

I assume Crota is a normal knight size with some special teleport ability like their ships or something since the sword was the size of normal knight swords. When we destroyed the communication sphere where there was a giant knight he had a gun so he's more of an acolyte so I doubt Crota will be massive.

he'll just be a Re-skin of Sardok, Eye of Oryx, he's the biggest Knight boss in the game.

I always assumed he was the same size as a regular knight, just with more ornate armour and much more powerful. If that's the case i'll be interested to see how he fights in the raid.
