If a thread gets too many downvotes (or dislikes) from the community, it will become like the one you linked.

Is there a way to disable it? Its really annoying to read the thread with it like that

Will it ever return to normal status? There's nothing bad, rule-breaking, or offensive about my linked thread. Perhaps people need to learn that "dislike" isn't the same as "I disagree with your post"
