what I just experienced is the full reason why i refuse to raid with lvl 29s
we just just did the raid.
three lvl 29s
three lvl 30s
eveyr wipe was caused by a lvl 29
they deal so little damage that we made a habit of sending a 4th person into the portal to finish off oracles because of how little damage they do.
lvl 30 raid is lvl 30 for a reason

I am a level 29 warlock sunsinger, I have a Gjallahorn and a maxed set of raid weapons. I usually out perform most level 30's in a hard raid simply because I have done 11+ raids and most people get to level 30 haven't done it as many times as I have, they have just been blessed by RNGsus. I am just not as lucky as them. (Freaking raid boots man....)

My team is fine and we only have one 30, we can easily two man oracles with 2 29s on hard if it glitches and only sends two people, so you guys must just suck.

Having run through the entire hard mode raid with 6 29's in a very timely manner I have to say that it has nothing to do with level and everything to do with skill. A skilled group of 29's can very easily do hard mode. Sure 30 has its advantage, but it doesn't instantly make someone good at raiding. Also if you doubt my experience just look at my grimoire, I've got 25+ raid completions.

We ran it with a 27, a 28, a 29, and three 30's last week in about a hour.... You have dps problems I feel bad for you son, raids got 99 problems and that shouldn't be one!

STFU!!!!! IT was the LEVEL 29's YOU HAD! I have run and beat HARD on all my guys at 28/29/30. With other 29's. Have beaten hard with 6 29's. So please save your cry baby tantrums for some where else. Or how about you quite broad stroking things with the BS BRUSH!

1 ReplyFyi a lvl 29 with maxed weapons does more damage than a 30 with clean weapons. You just chose poorly in your 29s. I am 30 now but with gjallarhorn and epilogue maxed i could solo the oracles on hard as a 29.

Sometimes you just get a bad raid group. Not saying any one person is to blame for it but it happens. We have all had a game where XxChromeNoScopeKillrswagxX has joined and made it an un fun experience. If you feel like it's gonna fall apart, call it a night and tell them nicely you are going to go.

The good news is the new Iron Banner will bring us a lot of new 30s to raid with.

You just had a bad team. 29-30 isn't much of a difference except for DPS on Atheon, but I've completed the raid with all 29's before, and it wasn't even difficult.

you should always make it a habit to send in a 4th.........quicker more times vengeance we destroyed anthon on hard in 2 ports.

4 RepliesWith that logic, there is no reason to ever do the hard raid as you never need any more armor at level 30 and so no one would ever do the hard raid.

We did it with 4 30s and two 29's, took us an hour for gatekeeper and we didn't finish Atheon. I've cleared both on less than 15min with a full team of 30s

We did it with: Two level 30s Four level 29s Took one try. And yes this was on hard at Atheon. Me and my friend (level 30). The other three knew each other (one level 30). Random guy. And one portal team three level 29s were teleported (i was one of them). I picked up the relic right away and had some very clutch moments. We successfully completed that portal and beat Atheon right before the Time's Vengeance went down to 0. BEFORE my friend joined we had: One level 30. Five level 29s. We never finished it. Spent over 12 tries. We spent 40 minutes or more. That random guy's friend was incompetent and had to leave to study for an exam. Besides another level 30 (my friend) joining us right after, overall it just goes to show you that competency and skill is more important than level.

1 ReplyIt not depends on the level (if u are 29 or 30) I always raid with my 29 Hunter and warlock and no one has something to say at me because I do my job and die very few times otherwise there are level 29 or even 30 that sucks and make our raid impossible... So 29 or 30 is only a number if u are good no one can blame nothing on you. I am 29 but I don't feel the need to reach 30 because I can raid even at 30 without so much difficulty. Sorry for bad English I'm italian

Any 29 with maxed epilogue does great damage to oracles lmao you sir are an idiot and don't deserve to play this game.

You obviously did not have a pretty good Raid team. No reason in the world that 3 30s and 3 29s should not be able to finish a Hard Raid. While I've only completed the Hard Raid 3 times, none of the teams I was on had more than 3 30s and we never had to send a 4th person into the portal. Again, just my experience.
