what I just experienced is the full reason why i refuse to raid with lvl 29s
we just just did the raid.
three lvl 29s
three lvl 30s
eveyr wipe was caused by a lvl 29
they deal so little damage that we made a habit of sending a 4th person into the portal to finish off oracles because of how little damage they do.
lvl 30 raid is lvl 30 for a reason

Ran hard raid several times with 29s even beat it with 5 29s and I was the only 30. Also have beat with 4 29s and me and another 30. It's not that difficult if you have competent people who speak clearly and are level headed.

I've ran two hard mode raids. Did don't the both times. Even saved everyone from wiping when we had atheon down to nothing. It is all about the player, not the level.

If they use epilogue on oracles they ruin them too.

Word I did the hard raid on level 29 4 times before I hit 30....... not there fault they weren't lucky enough to get all the necessary gear..... took me a month just to get my leg piece

You need to get three 29s that don't SUCK! 29 myself and run the raid PLENTY OF TIMES with mostly 29s with no prob.

Lol done the raid on hard with 3 lvl 29s, 1 lvl 28, and 2 30s. It is completely possible to do with lower levels. It just depends on how skilled you are.

1 ReplyI have a 30 & 2 29 hunters about to be 30. I do it with 3 29 & 3 30s all the time in less than 40 mins full raid. I have also done it with 2 28 2 30 & 2 29. When your at 29 or 30 its all about skill really. I have also played with 30s who SUCKED & always messed stuff up. Its just skill based. The only BIG damage difference with 29 & 30 is holding the relic. ALWAYS get a 30 to grab it

That's crazy. I have no problem running the raid on hard with 6 29's. We've done it and you may have to wipe a few extra times but I'm sure no one is perfect.

1 Reply3 29s and 3 30s is the perfect cutoff when hard mode becomes a hell of a lot easier. Blame the player not their character.

I did the raid with a 50/50 split of 29/30s. From the time in was invited, (still needed another 2 after me) we did Oracles to Atheon in 36 minutes. Did Gatekeeper and Atheon in one try. Blame the player, not their gear

lvl 29s need to have maxed weapons in order to take down the oracles.

Dude... The first team to do hard wasn't all 30... And now we KNOW how to beat him. If you blame it on a 29, then either your team is utter fail or get rid of the 29 and get another. I have done hard multiple times and none of my characters are 30 and I'm usually carrying the 30s cause they got lucky with gear. Find a real reason to bitch dumbass

3 RepliesYou need to find experienced 29s with max weapon for the hard raid. If they don't have it , give them the boot! Because there are players out there looking to get carried. It's not because all of them suck, they take more damage and dish out less. Try not to be a jerk cause it will only make your fire team more frustrated and leave.

As a level 29 you only do 20% less damage. You can do the hard raid and live. If you are level 30 and getting pissed your wipes are from 29's stop dieing before them.

1 ReplyEdited by sWozzAres: 11/19/2014 9:51:49 PM29's can clear supplicants sufficiently well with reduced damage as long as they start shooting them where they spawn and not just waiting for them to appear from behind the teleporter. also despite popular belief, 29's can use the relic if they have help from the other guardians, a 29 hunter is as good as a 30 warlock using the relic, the smash isn't as powerful but the extra agility makes fighting the minotaur easier and lets not forget the relic holder should super one of the oracles so you shouldn't need a fourth guardian to enter the portal this game is about teamwork, adapting to the situation, thinking fast and helping each other out, the biggest reason 29's fail to kill oracles is because they don't use a proper weapon, not because they do less damage

i mean normally i wouldnt give a shit, but since i was in that group i feel the need to comment. 1 of the 29s was bad hands down. but no offence moose but you and one of the other 30s wernt very helpful with the relic. its taking people longer to kill oracles becuase to much time is focuses on killing the minotaur on venus becuase the relic holder wasnt doing it. like i said i really dont care and my 29 is my alt( i have a 30). but i take offence thats your saying it was the 29s fault when i was in the same group and i saw first hand you dying to the minotaur on venus side, and the other 30 not even wanting to grab the relic half the time. i understand you were frustrated cuz i was to, but when u start saying im the reason for us failing i take offence and it pisses me off. i have alot of hard raid clears i know how the raid works.

I run my characters with many combos between 29 and 30 anyway I run as a 29 for Atheon four the fact I carry more fusion ammo and reload specials faster if people would just realize fusion rifles demolish Oracle's there would be less issues

I had no trouble last night on hard and I'm lvl 29...if I don't get teleported I stay near the door and hardly get damaged by the supplicants Just remember that they spawn on right first, then left, then right again...if anyone can remember this it will help out a lot Plus I have maxed epilogue and confluence so I deal extra damage to oracles if I get teleported which I hardly do for some reason...but I know what to do in any situation

1 ReplyWhen I hard raid with my clan we carry a lvl28 sometimes and we do it fine. Your team mates and you clearly aren't working as a team or your all rubbish.

Feel your pain, yesterday I whas raiding with 5 lvl 29 what is no problem btw if the know what to do and use there heavys but there were some guys that didnt had a cleu what the hell the were Doeing. I had painced but afther 90 min stuck ad the gate keeper I called it a night, normaly u do the hole raid on 90 mine on hm with a random team. The even keep on faling with sniping down the gatekeeper. It whas a very long night. :'(
