Patch 1.07 causing error code Boar
Been playing destiny now since launch and spent lots of time enjoying myself with minimal issues. Went to download the new patch and my ps3 asked me to do a quick update. This went smoothly and without issue. When into the main destiny updater it says it's attempting to download the 1.11fb from the playstation store. Before anything happens I get the boar error message. I've checked the FAQs and checked that the region's match and my account is correctly activated which are both ok. Uninstalled the game from my system and when I relaunch to reinstall it defaults to try and install the 1.11gb (after downloading the compatibility pack) and gives me boar again.
Any help would be really appreciated

Have you been having any trouble with it this month? I have gone through the motions with comparability pack 2 seven times within the past two days and I am unable to play.

Gone thru everything on these forums trying to get it going, but no luck. Have downloaded it twice now, made sure PS3 and PSS are up to date etc. All i get is a message saying content cant be read. Then the system locks up and has to be restarted. Really doubting ill be buying any of the DLC at this rate. EDIT: Now downloading the compatibility packs and game for a third time now. EDIT2: Have noticed it holds for a while around 78% downloaded mark before continuing EDIT3: Seems to be stuck on Transferring game content, has cycled thru once already, and has started doing it again. System hasnt locked up, as it does tick thru the percentages, and the background image changes on a regular occurrence. EDIT4 Still continues to Transfer Game Content, can hear hard drive working away. EDIT5: Now on REDDIT - http://redd.it/2ms7wj

Edited by tweestan: 11/20/2014 1:26:24 AMI am having the same problem but it does start to download from the Playstation store and the "Minutes Left" are always 100-3000 minutes left and even if I wait it gets to 20-25% it just signs me out and it stops downloading. I have done internet connection test and they always turn out just fine and my internet connection is always 100%

Its also not working on Xbox 360 for me. It crashes for me, and when its reading the files, it starts to act glitchy at 41%.

Hi UK version player , had same boar error when trying to play destiny. Went to playstation store and downloaded all my previous destiny downloads again. Then tried playing destiny and compatilbillty pack 2 downloaded its self with no probs. Now playing destiny all ok. Hope this helps Thanks P.S I feel your pain

3 RepliesSo I gave up last night after successfully downloading new games from psn in the UK but still getting boar error when trying to play destiny. Now 8hrs later still no destiny I accept the timing was poor with psn maintenance etc. But this is looking like an easy excuse now It would be good to see updates from bungie on this ASAP

"Destiny Compatibility Pack 2" is now downloading. No boar error yet. 1141mb file and saying 56mins here from UK on 8mb connection. PS3 version. Fingers crossed.

Just so people are aware, this is happening for me and i'm in Australia. It is absolutely appalling that there is so little communication here from Bungie's end. It starts to make you wonder if you really wanna fork out that $39.95 on the expansion pack doesn't it... That being said, I do really hope there is some compensation made here for the many that haven't been able to use a product properly due to unexplained circumstances. Stop finger pointing and tell us what the hell is going on!

Still no joy with Destiny. Seems system updates are in and still unable to play on the 2nd day of the week (almost midday). Now I realise it may have been bad timing but someone needs to man up and take responsibility for most of Europe being unable to play!!!

Edited by Buccilli95: 11/18/2014 11:17:56 AMsorry but iv tried every thing i dont care whos fault it is but we baought the game and for the money way paid we should have dumb proplems like this bungie and sony might be tryign to fix it but you guys made this game and should be able to fix it asap otherwise your gunna loose alot of customers. i understand that games like this will have problems but its happened 2 time with the last week and half and friends of mine arnt happy with this it unfortunate that you did it t the same time as the maintanance on psn but you should keep track of what time they will be dont theres before you do your surely your companies are conected and that you could get a scedual for when they will be updateing software and the psn stored and this will help in the future as we wont have this propblam again hopefully you fix this.

2 RepliesThe problem, as OP says, is that when you delete your data and rerun the disc, it does not try to reinstall the game on your hard drive like it did the first time you ran it. Instead it goes off to find the patch and fails.

5 RepliesIt's Sony not Bungie. Their servers are in maintenance and its not syncing the regions to accounts properly...
