To: Pre-Xur The Last Word Owners
So Xur is selling the Last Word. What of it? Personally, I've owned and loved TLW since week 3/4 of the game and I'm not even displeased in the slightest that I'm no longer a unique snowflake.
If you ever bought something from Xur, you've lost any right to complain. I'm sure you enjoy your Suros/Gjallahorn/Ice Breaker, right? Remember the people complaining about them?
If you're good at using TLW, why should you protest against others buying it? Now PvP will be more challenging... unless you admit you like having an unfair advantage, that is.
Stop complaining , it just shows how much of a hypocrite you are.

I got TLW from a crucible match ages ago. It's no big deal, it's fun up close but absolutely garbage at even a medium distance engagement. That's how most exotics are, they have an interesting perk that might make them fun to use, but you can always out-play them with other weapons just like anything else in the game, they're nothing special just fun to use. All it means is you will see a bunch of people using it for a while as they upgrade it, then a little bit longer as they play around with it, then they'll go back to other weapons (especially when they find out how broken the gun is after you get the titular upgrade, completely breaks almost all hip fire precision shots so that they count as body shots instead). Where they got it is a non-issue.

Got the Truth first week ,strike reward.Countless exotic armor pieces both for my class and for my alts. If I see something interesting from Xur I buy it. Are the ones I Got through RNG better? No. Only in the sense that in the moment Im not pissed off at the RNG system lol. I will prob buy TLW just to have it and who cares? Or A better question posed would be why should anyone care? Edit* I do Hate all of you for buying the Icebreaker, I was a coin short. ;)

I've had tlw since week 2 in my opinion its actually not as good as people think have fun using it doh its pretty fun and looks completly BADASS

1 ReplyI don't get the big stink about this gun. I got it last week in the Nightfall and have been slowly levelling it. It is mediocre at best. I prefer my Lord high Fixer. The only things cool about it are the shooting aesthetics. I will max this weapon out and then store it safely in my vault where it will remain and never to be spoken of again. Now that everyone should have one, it should stop all of the complaining and it will hopefully be forgotten by the end of the weekend.

Mine has been completely maxed out for about 3+ weeks. I love it and will continue to use it. Not concerned at all about others having it. Never thought it made me special at all.

I got mine Saturday and I was stoked. When i found out xur sells it this weekend it didn't bother me. Oh well I was uniqueish for a week. I would be super happy I hadn't already received it, so I can't complain.

I got galljhorn from a purple drop before patch. I love the gun and have no problem having other people buy it or get it. Just makes better chances of raid members having better weapons!

I "earned" 3 of them before xur sold it. Actually no I didn't earn it, they are all random drops. And I don't give 2 shits about xur selling it, other than I'm a little mad because he didn't bring me my g horn :( oh well there's always next week!

I had The Last Word for a long while and I have it fully maxed out. Its not as great as everyone says it is. I do better with the devil you know in crucible.

I wouldn't worry about it, I just assume the complainers are the same guys AFKing in crucible and that's how they got their hard earned exotic.
