To: Pre-Xur The Last Word Owners
So Xur is selling the Last Word. What of it? Personally, I've owned and loved TLW since week 3/4 of the game and I'm not even displeased in the slightest that I'm no longer a unique snowflake.
If you ever bought something from Xur, you've lost any right to complain. I'm sure you enjoy your Suros/Gjallahorn/Ice Breaker, right? Remember the people complaining about them?
If you're good at using TLW, why should you protest against others buying it? Now PvP will be more challenging... unless you admit you like having an unfair advantage, that is.
Stop complaining , it just shows how much of a hypocrite you are.

I admit, I shall be quite apoplectic at all the people using it in pvp. Good thing that I'm just focusing on my alt and playing the MC collection. .-. Destiny has become boring since I hit level 30. I have every exotic except for the mythoclast, thunderlord, and The Universal Remote.

It's not much of an advantage... Sure for someone inexperienced with hand canons it can seem good, but for those of us that us them a lot, it's not that great...

I honestly don't mind that he sold it as everyone deserves this amazing weapon. Only thing that's pissing me off is people will be crying for a Nerf and it won't be as fun.

3 RepliesThorn and The Last Word were both my first exotic weapons I got in the first 2-3weeks of the game being released and TLW has sat in my vault the entire time. For me thorn is a much better hand cannon in PvP. However since I got Fatebringer I've been using that instead. The Last Word is overrated.

I've had gjallarhorn for a while, and got thorn recently. But I really want Suros regime, and I haven't bought anything from xur for the past 3 months. I had 40 coins. Long story short, it looked nice and it knew you could spin it, so I bought it. It's fun, but I'd rather have Suros.

Had it for a month and don't use it. There's to many primaries that are better. TLW is just not worth an exotic slot in my opinion

1 ReplyI've owned TLW since September and I smile every time I see others with it. Why? Because they've experienced what the hand cannon has to offer and the damage it can do. It's a beauty and a beast in the right hands and seeing Xur sell it, doesn't bother me one bit. I personally want to see more people use hand cannons but I have yet to see another player with TLW today. [spoiler]However, I'm worried that Bungie will nerf TLW when enough people start to cry about it.[/spoiler]

I have three. One from Crucible, one from the Raid and one from a random Engram drop. I got my first in week 2 of the game. I have enjoyed using and not having it used on me. I honestly could not care less about the proliferation of TLW due to Xur selling it outside of the possible nerf. If enough people use it and it makes people complain Bungie will inevitably nerf the gun. TL:DR - I don't mind people having it provided it remains the same as pre-Xur.

As someone who got TLW from the raid a few weeks ago and maxed it out last week..... I really don't give a shit what guns the rest of you use.
