Bungie took one step forward today.
I believe Bungie did some great things today that were HIGHLY requested from the community. They had Xür sell the last word which was obviously the most wanted weapon. I too wanted it so now i have it! (+1 Bungie) Then they announced in game chat for matchmaking! Now you can communicate to random people you get matched with in strikes and crucible. That was also highly requested. And maybe the best thing they did. Was announce Iron Banner probably coming on Tuesday and selling Level 30 Gaunlets and Boots! Which seem to be the hardest items to drop. Starting next week we will see a LOT of new 30s (congratulations) and many people running around with their dream gun.
Nice job Bungie.. Nice job.

But it is random within the weapon type loot pool. EDIT: Took a look at all the primary exotics, there are not many. So if we theorize that Xur has a flat RNG for the weapon category type and that primary exotics earned from bounties are excluded (I believe this is correct) that leaves a 1/6 or so chance of Xur selling The Last Word this week, pretty decent odds. It's funny how people curse Bungie for not receiving rewards/benefits from these RNG systems as if Bungie is literally hard coding numbers into the generator to eff with them and then they praise Bungie when they do feel rewarded because they literally think Bungie has some kind of Xur interface where they can hard code what items he shows up with, so ridiculous. But I guess that makes since in such a primitive society pretending to be "highly advanced/intelligent". Everyone still lives by modern superstitions, prays to imaginary gods etc. I guess I should not be surprised. I just wonder if these forum whiners/praisers are also sitting in a church/temple each week waiting for god (RNG) to turn their luck around... As an atheist its all so pathetic and primitive to me, but amusing none the less. [b]So what do you say OP, did God tell Bungie to tell Xur to give you The Last Word?[/b]

Same enemies, in the same places with the same dumb AI routines Every Time!! I swear I can play this game blindfolded. Would it kill em to add more enemies, different enemies! Have anyone at Bungie ever played the open world Masterpieces of Rockstar and Bethesda, where in GTA IV or V, Skyrim, Fallout 3 I can find more unpredictable and random encounters in 5 mins than in three months worth of Destiny play. Congrats Bungie, if you wanted to make an easy baby MMO for those who find checkers too stimulating, you succeeded!!

If im not mistaken, im pretty sure the items Xur sells is RNG just like everything else in this game. Keep sitting there thinking that Bungie gives a damn about you.

What you said implied that they gave warlocks and titans armamentarium, voidfang vestments, and sunbreakers 3 times in a row. Also, gloves and gauntlets are the same things. If it's not going to have 30 light boots, then a lot of people will still be stuck in lvl 29 hell.

So annoying when 1/3 of people use last word, 1/3 suros regime, and another 1/3 want to use both :) As soon as I saw xur sell TLW, I started using my devil you know, and sniping last word users not knowing its range limitations :) I don't care if he sells everything or anything, I just wish there was more to do every week than just, 1-3 raids, 1-3 weekly heroic and nightfalls and leveling up weapons.

IB L30 gear will make it so people missing key VOG armor can be prepared for the new raid. Game chat will be a great option should people choose to use it. The Last Word is a lot of fun. Be it random luck or bungie intervention that Xur is selling TLW, its a good thing. Bungies article stated there is more to come in the following weeks. #Progress Hype....

I would be happier about this if the matchmaking communication included adding matchmaking to the Weekly's and VoG. Cue crying babies whining about how they don't wanna get matched up with people who bring a whole team down. Ready go.
