I earned my The Last Word, did you?
I got my The Last Word yesterday from nightfall and i wrecked shit with it. Now everybody is going to be using it in PVP. -blam!- you Bungie.

I just earned a fatebringer and monte carlo today. At least now i have earned some unique weapons that xur wont be able to sell to the filthy buyers.

1 ReplyAlso you got it via nightfall which probs took you 30-45mins to complete where as I had to do weekly 3 times to get enough coins which took nearly 3 hours. So technically I earned mine and you didn't!

Yea I earned by completing the weekly heroic every single week on 3 guys saving up strange coins... Not by getting lucky and having it randomly drop

Actually everyone who has spent their hard earned money on this game has earned the "chance" to get this gun. Just because some people are luckier or spent time grinding to get coins we all "earned it" so can everyone get off their high horses and drop the Last Word.

Ya know let me say this about "earning". My good friends did the Nightfall with a man down because I couldn't get on. And for each of them doing it 3 times on each of their characters, all they got was Ascendant Materials and one Legendary Scout Rifle for one of them. They helped me through the Nightfall on 3 of my characters. And what did I get? Mida Multitool Crest of Alpha Lupi Hide and Seek Now how is that fair? They completed it with two people and got fairly crappy rewards. When one of them anchored for me and helped me beat it. Yet only I get great rewards? That's not earning. That's -blam!-ing luck.

Luck does not equate earning. By that same logic some people only get coins from nightfall. if they used said coins to by TLW then how did you earn it any more than they did. Infact, that same person had to work HARDER than you cause they would have to at least have ran weekly heroic and a shitload of tiger strikes for engrams. People thinking coins are easy to come by because you have multiple characters are ridiculous, you take advantage of the system and then bad mouth people who don't. I worked harder for everything I bought from Xur than I did for every exotic drop I've had. Even the bounties are cake(with maybe the exception of thorn and pocket infinity) and their still earning it more than rng. You won the lottery and you're pissed about people who had to go out and get a job.

I earned my strange coins through nightfalls and engrams. I used those earned coins to buy the last word. I wasn't lucky like you to get it from RNG

Raid weapons are the only things you can earn even then it just random on what or if you get anything

I'm sure you definitely earned it from the laughably easy nightfall. Getting 23 coins together is much more difficult than nightfalls. I solo the nightfalls in like 20 mins, so unless you can get 23 coins in 20 mins, then I don't want to hear the whole "I earned mine I'm not special anymore" whining.
