The Vex Mythoclast is Truly a Myth
For some(myself included), the "Vex Mythoclast" is indeed a myth. Some are content on not finding it, while others rant, and they have good reason too. I've seen and experienced 14 completions, 39 completions, even hard 50 completions and still nothing of "true" value. I for one can understand the frustration. Especially if you have had the pleasure of witness someone get brought into the end of the raid only to get what some may call Destiny's "ultimate loot". That is obscured, and unreasonable of Bungie to implement this mechanic into Destiny.
I will ask, please share your experiences, whether you were lucky enough, or just plain not worthy enough to have received the VM.
And please try to resist the urge to be a dick. Thanks
EDIT: OK, so I've actually had the Vex for quite some time now. I think I got it like 2 days after this post was submitted, just didn't feel like updating. I don't even use it much anymore. Even for the bounty where you have to get 2 fusion rifle kills 20 times I use Pocket Infinity. But thanks for all of you guys' comments and likes. Keep it coming if you may, because there are still plenty who have not had the pleasure of squeezing the trigger on that big ass gun.
EDIT: That's a lot of friggin comments. 566 is the number right now.

1 ReplyRan VoG hard for the first time with my clan - dropped for me after Atheon fell. Haven't used it yet - still trying to max my Suros before I play with it.

Then 2 hunger of crotas dropped.. then the crotas pulse and auto rifle. Ran the vog, got the vault fusion and sniper , first of each, and then the vex beating atheon. Months of worst rng, then it turned and hasn't stopped. Still no gjalla though.

So weird. I have got vex drop every time the last five raids. Think my last one was the 15th drop.

I would have 7 but i dismantled 4, i also feel sad that some ppl get them all the time while others dont get it at all

Got my second one last night. Dismantled it for the shard immediately. Sorry to those who haven't gotten it, I feel the same way about Gjallarhorn...I want one, but I'd be happy with Hunger of Crota. It's all good, I don't NEED a tracking rocket, but I want one

30+ runs and still no vex. My friend has done 3 runs and got a vex every time. RNGesus must really hate me.

Took me 6 times, 2nd time on the actual character i got it on, I was shocked when i got it but we did down atheon in 30 seconds so i felt like it was earned along with the other 2 that got it with me and the other guy getting the truth and poor last guy got a ship and chatterwhite haha

I got my fifth Vex Mythoclast this week. Still want a Fatebringer. Got the Gjallarhorn from the exotic chest in the Vault of Glass last week and maxed it out a few days later. It is definitely as good as advertised.

Yeah i dont need it to do well, but id like to at least try it out. 17 completions isn't a ton but when I've seen people in my clan getting a vex when they've already got it several times before, I get a little butt hurt. Especially because I get a preadeths revenge every damn time. Coming up on 20 completions and I still need the time piece, praetorian foil, corrective measure and of course the stupid mythoclast.

I got mine after about 6 hard runs, the day after the nerf lol, I don't use it too much, but it's still a really good gun.
