Only allow trading between people on your friends list, and they must have been friends for over 2 weeks.

Or just make an auction house to prevent people giving gear to friends who have just got the game etc
-
We were supposed to have a trade system lol. Most people that followed the game years ago, recall that it was mentioned in the early game clips when they first came out. They could purchase/trade/gamble for their gear at one point, but everything was changed. However, I'm all for your idea as well.

1 Replytrade solution- put your big girl panties on and stop whining

What thatlocogringo said

5 RepliesOr you can only trade with people you just got the drop along side. Like we all beat the raid on hard you get the helmet I need and I get the mythoclast you need we trade before we get back to orbit.
-
Bad solution. If trading is ever implemented, it should be only with equal quality items. Exotics for exotics rares for rares etc
-
1 ReplyDumb solution
-
Auction house and increase glimmer cap, make mats shards, coins and all auctionable
-
No. Have trading available for people in the game when you get the drop like in diablo. It lets you trade with a buddy of it's for his class but will hopefully stop exploits or buying of items etc
-
4 RepliesThis will never happen. THE ENTIRE GAME IS BUILT TO TAKE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE TO DO SIMPLE THINGS. Trading takes away the time investment by skipping the awful RNG system for things you want.... Making you want to login less. Destiny is setup for playtime, not fun or player experience
-
5 RepliesExotic for exotic, legendary for legendary. This would prevent people from selling exotics
-
Borderlands has trading and dupe glitches. I don't see why destiny shouldn't have at least a legitimate trading system.

Edited by TheBlazenReaper: 11/4/2014 9:27:09 PMNever happen Bungie said n Dev said never be trading this not warframe gay game

Nah just put a "Trade Broker" npc in the tower. The items are removed from the inventory of both people and the game auto saves. Both people have to confirm the trade for it to go through. If a disconnect happens while the npc has your items the trade is rendered invalid and both people get their stuff back in the mail if the trade isn't confirmed and completed within 24 hours. I've been thinking about this a bit. :P

1 ReplyEdited by Xzoteck: 11/4/2014 8:47:34 PMIf this game had trading it would have to be worked a specific way. Otherwise you would see the vex on eBay and really you still will. People that intend on quiting would give all there stuff away or sell it. That would destroy everything the game is about. Personally I would like to see exotic for exotic and legend for legend. You would have to be over 20 of course and be a fair trade. There would still be selling certain things so certain things shouldn't be allowed . No raid items should be allowed to trade.
-
7 RepliesNope... Would make all the people who complain already, start complaining how it's too easy to get gear and run out of stuff to do. Trading of any type would ruin this game as it stands now. Once the game is up and going and they fix some of the more important bugs, then they can work on adding more features. As it stands now, there is not enough loot variety and content to implement a trade system between players. Even if it is their plan to add it as a feature. It would take a lot of time and resources to test it properly before adding it.

4 RepliesWhy not remove currency cap (not earning cap just carry cap) allow trading of items and all currencies between players, and maybe a general trader that you can sell stuff to and buy stuff others have sold (think runescapes old merchant system) that would suffice until they get a proper auction house.
-
5 RepliesEdited by TheDirtyRinger: 11/4/2014 8:26:34 PMGear is already fairly easy to get. This would make it too easy and I myself would lose interest fast. Also we would get ppl like d3 that would make programs to scam ppl out of there stuff. It's just a recipe for disaster
-
trading would be nice but i see it being heavy exploited. someone would find a way to steel your shiz and not pay you in return. i dont really care if everyone would be level 30 or if everyone had the vex. its a game. it is suppose to be enjoyed by all and not by the select few that have really good luck with rng.
-
1 ReplyGood suggestion. I have another great solution to suggest though: No trading!
-
3 RepliesEdited by JayMac: 11/4/2014 7:42:13 PMTrading would kill this game and i hope it never comes, its unfortunate about the loot system and maybe that can be reworked in the future. The moment trading comes out i certainly would quit, simply fact some people would never have to earn raid gear, just trade with a friend who has a few extra peices baam lv 30. Id even say within the first hour, half of the community or more would be level 30. I got 6 mythoclasts ill just get my friends to toss me some shitty items, even if its exotic for exotic go do a few exotic bounties and baam you trade a bad juju for mythoclast. I dont ever see this game having trading and for good reasons.
-
limit trading to exotics and legendaries as well
-
Another added feature or trading should be you can only trade like for like ie if you have a spare exotic armour for a hunter that you earned but don't need you can trade for an exotic for Titan/warlock that you do need, that way you've at least earned the exotic in the first place rather than just being able to trade what ever for what ever.
-
Only allow trading when. You finish a strike and it shows what the three people got. Only then.
-
Or only alow trade for items of the same rarity.
-
Trading my Vex for another Vex!!
