I play all 3 classes in PvP, all characters have issues that will be nerfed and others buffed. Example of nerf/buff: 1) - warlock melee animation range nerf - Titan and hunter melee animation range buff 2) arc blade melee animation nerf, or a slight slowing in ability to spam trigger and kill groups clumping together. If you think arc blade is balanced, then you are just bad at using the trifecta of invisibility, blink and arc blade super. Arc bolt nades as a bonus, very good for pvp as well. 3) Titan vertical super range. I shouldn't be hit by it 3 stories above it. It should be considered skillful to jump away from it, not hopeless :( There are a lot of things that will be tweaked, buffed and nerfed, these might not be it. Just trying to give a few potentials. TLDR: hunter arc blade class might not be OP to some, but if you can get into a game with me, ill use all level 1 weapons and show you it is.

  • You must be kidding me. The Titan can unleash a devastating Melee after running for 3 seconds and you think they should be buffed. Maybe focus on one character instead of all 3. You won't complain because you won't forget what character your using and what ability he has. I can't believe people are crying nerf or buff to the point where no character or class would be unique.

    After using the shoulder charge for awhile now, and fighting against it, I can tell you it's not OP. Map awareness is required, treat every corner like it has an arc blader or Titan with super around it, and most your games will end in a positive ratio. Aggressive rotations with complete map awareness is one of the secrets to the crucible. Knowing how long after you see a red blimp, before you might see them actually helps. Knowing the sound of a super activating around a corner, or the sound of invisibility being activated, also helps a lot. The point isn't to nerf or buff things to suit your playstyle, but for all players to be able to enjoy a true choice of diversity in the crucible and win games at the same time, with the same ease as the dominant classes. Trying too much, will eventually become draining. Even if you don't want to believe it, you will need to take a break of some sort, eventually.

  • I have a Titan as well, and yes, the shoulder charge is OP. I like it. Maybe you just haven't gotten used to that class yet. The timing of the charge and how long it lasts has to be mastered.

    My bad for not wording that accurately then, the player makes the skill OP, not the skill. One shot gun shot shot will kill the Titan mid charge, just don't turn into the corner, bait it and back away, he charges and you kill him, the person following the Titan thinks your weak, you kill him too. If people keep claiming the arc blade is way to easy to stop, then the shoulder charge should be a joke for them. For me stopping the shoulder charge is a fun and rewarding challenge, that is doable with even some lag, just not the horrible full game 5-second delays. This is my opinion, all I ask is that you respect it and give it some thought, as I have done yours.

  • Nothing should be nerfed. Everything has a weakness and should. One thing I can say is people who want the Titan's charge to be buffed are ridiculous. Go to Kotaku on YouTube and watch the newest highlight reel. It is a really good melee ability if you know how to use it.

  • I played my warlock the most, and I feel bad for hunters and titans that can't melee hit people at shotgun range.

  • That's the point. Warlocks have magic. Titans have power. Hunters have speed. You never want to be close to a warlock. You don't want to give a Titan room to charge. And you have to watch out for hunters. They will find you and hunt you like their prey. I also think that the opposite class supers are meant to counter each other.

    Titan striker counters all, including golden gun, if timed right. Warlock nova bomb counters defender and arc blade mainly, and can trade equally with golden gun and radiance. Golden gun requires good map awareness and can potentially counter every other one, strikers are hard but can be as well. Arc blade can trade with most, but can be countered with striker and voidwalker. Golden gun requires good mastery of skill to counter arc blade. Radiance can counter most, but it's heavily situational. Like a variant of the arc blade, radiance shares most of the same inherent weaknesses, even some of the same golden gun weaknesses. Probably as rewarding as golden gun, with good awareness. These are not set in stone, player skill and map awareness can make all seem overpowered. THE POINT I hope you take from this is that, if all players are equally skilled, there are inherent counters, but not all classes have same weaknesses, some have more, some less. If you're thinking that's diversity at its truest, then understand that is just another form of forcing a dominant class, or two, to emerge. Unfortunately, changing the classes to all be 100% balanced would also ruin the game. What, I think, might work is something in between full balance between all classes and where the classes are today. Even the field a bit, but leave some challenge and desire to use one class over the other. TLDR: Slight tweaks to each sub-class, not full blown nerfs, I guess is what I want.

  • All that was spot on. However, golden gun vs arc blade is situational. If the arc blader runs right at you it is easy. But if they are willing to sacrifice kills for this one they can use the swipe to zig zag meaning a harder target.

  • I have almost no experience with golden gun, just finished arc blade, but it feels like if I don't get behind cover the golden gun can track me blinking through the air, at the apex of the jump. Can't wait to start leveling gunslinger, and test that sub-class super as well.

  • i just did a clash game with all white level 15 armor and a handcannon (never used in the crucible hah). this isn't WoW, weapons don't need nerfs.

  • That's my point? I'm saying use all level 1 weapons, with no bonus modifiers and invisibility with blink and arc blade super, you'll still do great if you use the radar well. A white level 1 shotgun and a level 20 legendary maxed, sadly, deal the same damage in crucible.
