I'm sure a lot already know but for those that don't.... *Not Applicable to fully upgraded weapons/Gear, Just weapons/gear levelled up until the last tier where you have to use ascendant materials. Don't use any ascendant materials in the levelling if you are going to dismantle* If you intend on dismantling your Legendary or Exotic Gear/Weapons then --> Always level your Legendary & Exotic Gear/Weapons up until you have to start using energy/shards to level them further before dismantling, you get a lot more in return (Energy/Shards) than you do by breaking them down without first upgrading them. Just a tip for those that don't know, I see a lot of people on here saying they just dismantle L's or E's upon receipt of them.... Such a shame yo! If anybody has any helpful tips then post them here..... Keep the sarcastic ones to yourself like 'burn the destiny disk' 'go play cod' 'go outside' etc etc. ** Again ---> Don't use any ascendant materials to upgrade before dismantling, just the cheap materials. Glimmer, farming materials, and weapon parts/class materials. And if this is random then I am extremely lucky. I get a min 5 energy on levelled L's & E's. It does take a while for me to level them perhaps time elapsed since receipt plays a part? Or I'm just very lucky.
