Will the Vault of Glass be easier than we think???
Most of what I've heard is that the Vault of Glass will be by far, the most difficult challenge we will ever face in Destiny. From statistics that may be true, but what if were overrating its difficulty. What if it won't actually be that hard. What if we could one shot the GateLord with a Golden Gun. What if we could be Kawaii and beat the Vault of Glass with no pants and OP Fusion Rifles... Any Thoughts???

Probably. If you rolled with a good fire team, nothing was really hard in destiny. [spoiler]except my boner[/spoiler]

Well they had those experienced clans come in and fail at it for 16 hours. I don't know if that was on normal or hard mode. But they said they used that data to tweak the raid and I don't think they mentioned anything about a test after the tweaks were made. So there is no way to tell if they nerfed the hell out of it. Or just tuned some maybe near impossible encounters they overlooked. Who knows. We find out on the 16th I guess :)

1 ReplyI guess we'll see at launch but I'm actually worried that it's too hard to beat. Ex: bungie invited an organized gaming clan to play through the vault of glass. There were 4 groups and only 2 groups made it to the final boss, those two groups failed to kill the boss. Also I forgot to mention that they spent 16 hours in the vault of glass, if an experienced gaming clan wasn't able to beat it, will my raid team be able to?

probably not, bungie has shown on record that they're pretty bad at their own games lol, it may take a few hours but it won't take 14-15 like bungie has said their playtesting team took.

I think when Bungie says that it's one of the most challenging things they've developed, they probably know what they're talking about. Think back to trying to beat Halo games on solo Legendary, or even the Vidmaster Achievements from back in the day. Those challenges took some serious dedication and patience. I don't think that it's going to be impossible by any means, and there will definitely be people out there who can push through the most extreme challenges with little to no visual effort, however for most common and casual players I hope that it will be as hard as they are talking it up to be.

3 RepliesBungie games in the past have been pretty easy on Normal, but pretty much impossible on Legendary with all skulls on. Since the Raids get difficulty modifiers and a Hard mode, I'd say there is a good chance people will be stumped for a while.

Gonna all depend on your team i am sure. And it could be worse then everyone thinks it is gonna be. If they are making special stuff for the people who beat it first im sure it is gonna be rough

3 RepliesI am just going to bring a Hammer with me and smash the crap out of the Glass Vault then steal what is inside it. :) ROFL Seriously though. I bet their is more challenging things in the game. Why give you a heads up on the name of the most challenging thing when you could leave it for a surprise. It is like telling the story before the game is released. It makes no sense. It would be a major mistake if it was the most challenging thing though. A bit depressing really to even think about it in that way.

Will it be hard, yes, most likely, Will it be as hard as everyone thinks? I highly doubt it, so many things to consider when calling something "hard" number one being player skill, some people have issues beating halo on heroic, while others solo it on legendary with most if not all of the skulls on..some people are just better under pressure while others completely fold under it.. Back in the beta i watched 3 people get completely destroyed on the first mission...one i didn't even think was complicated at all. I revived two guys 20 times in one strike mission. I well form teamed with skilled players probably wont have many issues at all, while a team of casuals may try multiple times and never succeed. Will it be hard? I'd say it depends on you and your fellow guardians and how well you work together in each situation.
