The burning question about playable species
So we know that the three playable races in destiny are the humans, awoken, and the exo.
But the question still remains: are they aliens or augmented humans???

Maybe they're humans who were altered by the powers of the Traveler. Or maybe they arrived with the Traveler. I'm sure we'll find answers when the game launches.

I also wonder if each race has a special perk or ability like how races did in skyrim, because we know each class has different abilities and powers. It would be a cool thing, so that picking a race isn't just a superficial choice

Exo's just robots. Don't know if cyborg or androids. Awoken guessing used to be humans. Nothing much else.

I'm thinking that Awoken are the results of genetic tampering, but the collapse happened before everyone could be augmented.

The Awoken appear to be altered humans given their appearance, as for Exo its still up in the air as to what their origins are
