Honestly, I hate Hulk, he's such a boring character. According to The Flood he is the definition of invincible and any form of retaliation against him is useless.

  • No, he's on the lower end of mid-tier, though he does get more powerful as he gets angry. He'd definitely lose to Superman, Thor, or anybody on their level or higher. Halo, as it happens, is just not on Hulk's level. He could probably take down the forerunners if he had to.

  • Forerunners? Maybe. Precursors? No chance.

  • We barely know anything about the precursors, so we can't really say who would win.

  • Read Silentium. Or failing that, merely ask. One of their primary forms of attack is accelerating their invincible technology 1/3 lightspeed through planets to destroy them. They also have some form of gravity manipulation, which allowed them to destroy another planet early in the book, and can warp space itself merely by their presence, which allowed them to make a technological black hole of 2/3 of the Milky Way, in turn making the Forerunners defenseless in these regions. To clarify, the Flood are the Precursors' most recent form, but over the past 100billion years or so (preuniversal) they've evolved multiple times into several forms. The Primordial was the last of that particular kind of Precursor, the kind we readily associated with the word. Given their willingness to let the Forerunners destroy them without a fight the first time in order to study the nature of chaos more intimately, and their subsequent return with all of the memories of their other forms, death to them has little meaning. As speculated, the five Strings in Silentium detailing the Forerunners' miltary efforts revealed that the Precursors' technology is indestructable to all forms of conventional damage. It is in fact "not made of matter," (Pg. 96). Any efforts against the Flood were stonewalled the instant the Precursors arrived in the system. Their structures themselves were their weapons; not being composed of any regular matter, they had total control over what their technology did. They were destroying planets with their roads and buildings, no weapons in the traditional sense. Any military action against these Star Roads was utterly useless, military action which I'll remind you was coming from the Forerunners, a civ where each ship was a planet killer in its own right. Hulk can't fight the Precursors, he has nothing to fight them with. They're trans-universal (most of their accumulated knowledge comes from "before their were stars, the life pattern and living wisdom of a hundred billion years, (Pg. 322)), exist in multiple galaxies (also confirmed, as the Great Gravemind has "brought entire galaxies to end" (Pg. 321)), and build technology that is eternal.

  • Alright, that's...pretty impressive. I'd say it would push them up to high mid-tier, even. Fine, they'd beat Hulk, I admit. ...But Thor still solos.
