Yes they can. They could easily attack Israel via their Revolutionary Guards Qud's Force. The Qud's Force already has personnel in Syria, so it makes sense that they would use them to mount some sort of strike on Israel (particularly Tel Aviv like they've warned).

It's a branch within the Iranian military. It's very unique because they have their own Navy and Air force branches as well. Their Qud's Force is their special operations force; however, they are labeled a terrorist organization by the United States :) It may not go well for them, no, but they could strike Israel via the Qud's Force.

Definitely not China, no. Plus, I doubt we'll get into a war with Russia.

I don't want to give anyone any ideas, but I don't see what's stopping Iran from using their oil to commit China to Iran's side in a war.

It's not that, they really wouldn't have a choice but to come to their aid (say Iran makes under the table threats to cut their supply or raise prices).

Dustin, I seriously, seriously, doubt that China would be involved in a war to protect Iranian interests. They also know that any conflict with Israel will likely have the United States involved as well. A war between the US and China would not be good for either side, and both us and China know that. Speaking of a war between Israel/US vs____, I also doubt Russia will be involved in one either.

If not provide military support, they'd at least fund and supply them. Just that has gotten us into wars before.
