Health Care isn't a right. Neither is being safe. Its a reward of hard work and dedication. There are no manufacturing jobs left in this country because everyone thinks they should make $15.00 an hour to turn a wrench. When people in other countries are more than happy to do it for $5.00 an hour. The country has to make money to pay for subsidized health care. We have no money. Its all a glorified scam. What money we do have is being hoarded by a select few.

How utterly silly, manufacturing is job that requires much more than turning a wrench. And 5.00 an hour is barely enough to sustain one person, let alone an entire family. There is a reason why we have the minimum wage, and refuse to subject our citizens to virtual slavery.
-
and who do you do you know that is willing to work for even minimum wage. Look at the union that closed down hostess. All because they wanted more money they would rather be unemployed that make what they were making. What a joke. Just another 12,000 mouth for the taxpayers to feed.

People demand $15 an hour because that's how much you need to live an alright life in America. You can get away with paying Chinese workers next to nothing because they simply don't need much more (there's other factors, obv, but this is a key one) as prices are so damn cheap there, e.g. a chinese supermarket sells a 2ltr bottle of coke for $0.15, a fish for a $1, chips for $0.15 etc. A flat in the middle of Beijing or Shanghai costs you about $40-80k (and that's where the well paid jobs are, mind you); whereas a flat in the middle of NYC will cost you $400k.

Actually, most of those workers live allow quality of life. Though, the housing market there is pretty cheap right now.
-
That's what I'm saying. In China, you don't need to be paid a whole lot to get a decent quality of life.
-
No, I meant to say most live a low quality of life.
-
Dailymail is biased, very biased. Also, what we see as a low quality of life is viewed as a high quality of life there. The vast majority of factories in China offer staff free rooms & free food as part of their wage package & up until very, very recently (and in a way, even still); if a worker didn't like their job, they could literally walk into another factory & be offered a job right away - this is due to China's booming-as-fook economy.
-
First off, just because something as seen as high quality in one place, doesn't mean that it's actually high quality. It just means that the people within the society are usually subjected to a tyrannical government most of the time. Second, sources?

Education. Go & google it if you're that skeptical.

Burden of proof relies on you; I'm not wasting my time finding nonexistent evidence to support your point.

Remain in ignorance then, doesn't bother me in the slightest.
