This is the state of things to come. The great devs that created great Destiny content have all gone. This shambles has been created by newbies who have been given a chance to show what they can do. A bit like having a 2 week trial at a new job to show bosses what you're capable of. This content has given no thought or consideration to it's 10 year loyal player base. It's an expensive experiment to totally kick out the players who once loved the game, in the hope of attracting a huge number of new players. I don't think Destiny will survive this.

  • Well said, the community needs to realize that Bungie can’t be profitable by appeasing to the hardcore crowd. I consider myself an average raider who was forced out of dungeons and raids due to the difficulty increase.

People (regular, average, gamer people) raved about that expansion, the changes to the subclasses and the accessibility of the endgame.. so many folks got to enjoy the best parts of D2… Apparently, for those who tie their self esteem, and or livelihood, into their D2 “achievements”, that wasn’t okay. It’s sad to watch Bungie piss away all the good will/vibes that came with WitchQueen so quickly and efficiently. Even weirder to see them misinterpret their player base so thoroughly. But I guess there’s enough evidence going back to when I started playing that it really shouldn’t be a surprise… aside from the financial aspect… they love that money, but been losing a ton of it since WQ… that’s the truly flummoxing thing. In any case. It was always a pleasure to play with you Motor.. take care:).

I've been playing like a full blown addict since D1. And my apathy has been at an all time high as of a month ago BEFORE most of the anti-EoF stuff even started popping up. I just don't see how ANY of these systems inspire growth for the game or incite a sense of curiosity and intrigue in veteran players...And everything about EoF is off putting imo for new players... Nothing about it is enticing or interesting or simple enough to seem fun for newbies...Sooo I can't honestly say who ANY of the upcoming content is truly for. It's very interesting to see how defenders of Bungie and EoF are angry and foaming at the mouth at anyone that has a valid argument against the content though...Almost sounds like undercover Bungie employees throwing shade at dissatisfied former Bungie fans. Even about to unsub from content creators purely bc of how many of them have been trashing their fans and Destiny players for having complaints and canceling preorders...Datto for example... Most egregious example in his infamous crashout 1/3 through the second EoF stream.

Yes I think some of these streamers are bricking it. What will they do if Destiny goes under?
