BUNGO must have some of the worst boss fight designs in the whole video game history.
Damage mitigation is completely broken since they introduced prismatic, so everything needs to hit harder to compensate for the dr given by transcendence.
Best dr nowadays is amplified, because not only reduce the damage you take, but also reduces the likelihood of being hit by anything.
I did several flawless runs on expert, and it's always the same bs. If I'm on arc, is a walk in the park; anything else, besides prismatic, you will be fried, even if you only get hit by the splash damage.
And all that for what? Some crap weapons we will never use or are only useful to undergeared people, which will not be doing the expert version unless if they are being carried or really hate themselves that much to die every second or so after the first encounter, when the damage of everything there ramps up like crazy.
First of all, why would you glaive block anything 😂 it’s the most useless thing in this game especially on expert and above.
Second, it’s not that difficult. Just kill the witches for max damage.
Jump Ferus, as a short-term solution.
Are you talking about Expert Rushdown... I haven't gotten that boss fight yet.
Is it the dunking fight from tFS in the Pale Heart or the Witch Queen encounter to enter the Pyramid from the swamp in Savathun's Throne World?
That attack has always been rough, but if you're in the air... you'll be good.
The main issue is that glaives only block damage from the front. The attack hits so often that you are likely taking damage from behind or directly on top.
