A product of catering almost exclusively to the portion of the player base who’s mentality is “I stop playing when I get what I want” instead of also considering the people that play for the fun of weapon experimentation. The people that continue to play AFTER they get what they want because actually using what you want is half(if not more) the fun of the game. Crafting solved this issue(among others) and we could have VERY easily just had both but instead people(and Bungie) act likely this can’t happen. Get ready for this to be even worse with the new armor changes. You can thank the tryhards and prominent streamers who complained about crafting killing the chase but that were STILL getting red border drops for King’s Fall during Pantheon. They complained about it but hadn’t even completed the patterns yet, probably because they were just chasing adepts in master anyway. Bunch of gambling addiction hypocrites.
