They are designing the game for no life streamers that can instantly get teammates (teammates that also happen to be god tier, are very engaged in game, knowledgeable, have perfect builds and don't want to embarrass themselves on a stream so they sweat while playing).
The teammates streamers get are not what regular joes find in LFG
They don't want solo players, casuals, dads, for some reason Bungie wants this game as a job. Probably because the loudest voices are streamers that moan "there's nothing to do" because they no life the game in daily 12 hour streams.
Honestly its best we all move on

I work for 40 hours and I livestream on the side. Saying final shape is for sweats is just disingenuous at best at this point Anything that seems to require some modicum of effort is apparently no life streamer material. Genuine question, what are the casuals then who completed the mission?

This is a soloable mission.

I am mostly solo I’m casual and I’m a dad This game seems fine to me not without issues I don’t have perfect builds I use what is fun for me I’m just not feeling the same that bungie is out to alienate the solos I’ll agree that a checkpoint would help some more casual players out to go and come back but it’s not a hard mission it’s not overly complicated

There are 2 checkpoints. But unfortunately if you go to orbit they will reset but it has always been like that. In any case if you need help getting though it I'll help you. 👍

Actually, alienating solo players is exactly what Bungie has done and continues to do. The fact you don't see it just means you are blind or stupid. 1) Dual Destiny 2) "Co-op focus" on the main DLC rotating missions that were always match made before. 3) They quite literally locked "level 7" behind these co-op missions. That's the same level 7 that I've done solo since those levels came out. 4) They have refused to acknowledge the drop in players in response to all these things. These things quite obviously add up to the fact that the current game director hates solo players and is willing to throw away the entire game to laugh at you. Honestly, I'm embarrassed to have to explain to an adult something so incredibly obvious. I'm 52, and I figured it out the instant I finished the campaign.

You've got to admit, if you take out the mildly abusive comments, this guy is absolutely correct. It's so much harder in these final seasons for solo players to progress.
