It sounded worse on paper. You still feed your abilities while getting kills w devour active. Throw on a couple mods that grant grenade energy on powered melee hits. A pugilist adrenaline junkie weapon can help mitigate some energy gains.

Gunna have to do that since the only gun I have w pugilist is a crafted Rufus with paracausal affinity paired with the mataidoxia. Definitely gunna have to grab that role on breakneck this weekend. Rng willing of course lol

Also the drops can come with up to 4 perks so be sure to check them all before trashing any. I almost did that with my roll.
