Finishers keep killing me
For the past week and a half, I would say every third finisher kills me in all different activities and destinations. Go to do a finisher, an explosion goes off, and I die. Saw it happened to it fire team member today as well.

This happened to me in Gambit earlier and lost 15 motes 😭

It happens when two players go to finish the same enemy at the same time, it creates an explosion that kills both players. Bungie doesn’t care if it ruins a grandmaster run or anything like that because it doesn’t benefit the player. I’ve stopped performing finishers until the bug is fixed because it’s just not worth the wipe of two players just to finish off one enemy or hive ghost.

Dont use finishers on dead enemies. If they die before the finisher completes you finish yourself.

Old bug If 2 player try to finish the same enemy the second one that use the finisher will die

I noticed it happens A LOT more often if you use a finisher that has a 3D Prop, ie. The Chair, A sword, scythe, a gun etc... For the time being, I just use the default finishers and haven't died since I switched it over.

It's a displacement that happens in the finisher. The game thinks you're in the ground/wall and kills you. It's very awful this season. Spaghetti code!

Yeah I never had this problem until this season dropped and now a solid 1/5 of the time I use my finisher I get killed by this awful glitch. It usually happens when I use the forsaken finisher on big enemies like ogres or abominations.

1 ReplyDo you have more than one finisher equipped? Have you noticed if its only specially? Try not using that one for now. A friend told me this, I haven't had it so can't confirm.
