Try changing destiny 2 audio in audio and voices from default to headphones and microphones.

go to where the audio is on the lower right. Right click it and press sound setting then go to audio volume and sound preferences and try changing destont 2 from default to speakers and microphone. Press destiny 2 and it will appear on the audio volume and sound preferences. Right click on Windows on the lower left find task manager Right click on destiny 2 to end task restart and see if it works

I don't have audio volume and sound preferences. I have app volume and device preferences, but it doesn't show destiny there unless it's running and I said I can't get the game to launch so I can't do that

Sorry I meant app volume and device preferences. Press destiny 2 head back to app volume and device preferences and check for destiny 2 change from default to speaker ans microphone. Get out of destiny 2 restart and see if it works. If it doesn't then we just have to wait for bungie to release an update to fix it.

As I just said destiny won't show up there unless the game actually opens to where I can see the start screen where I have to press enter to play but I can't get the game to open so I can't change it's defaults

Then we just have to wait for Bungie to release an update soon to fix it. My problem is that when I enter destiny 2 I am stuck in the loading screen showing all three class sigils.
