Please decrease armor drop rates in dungeons and add a method to target farm. I'm so sick of running duality to get a trash roll epicurean first encounter, gauntlets second encounter, and epicurean and fixed odds boss encounter. Every week in and out in and out I dont get anything that makes me want to continue grinding it. I can barely bring myself to do a run a week because I only get the same garbage. Spire is just as bad nobody runs that dungeon for anything but long arm, cowboy hat, and maybe a couple other weapons but all I get are boots, gauntlets, and chest pieces. I dont want any of this. All this does is make the activity unrewarding and feel beyond unmotivated to run them.

I would much rather have dungeons get their own version of spoils and a chest at the end to redeem them

1 ReplyEdited by Kouz_MC: 2/27/2023 6:52:53 AMDidn’t get a single “god roll” this season despite 130 GM completions at the time of writing. Not even 3 out of 5. One of the reasons I didn’t buy lightfall.

They should make it to were if you already acquired the armor the drop rate should be lower but that would be too intelligent for bungie.

7 RepliesEdited by TheShadow: 2/26/2023 3:05:32 PMI've never understood how players call a system that is designed to drop garbage more often than not "farming". How the system is set up for that activity is the exact same system for 99% of this game. You are not "farming" you are running a hamster wheel hoping for a drop. How the system is designed is (literally to show numbers) to say "see, they are playing and having a fun time".

No thank you. I run Master Spire for armor not weapons. Unfortunately, this year was the first time I found out that a fire-team finder existed so I have not attempted Master on other dungeons. I agree with you for non-Master mode but not a broad armor reduction. I would much rather double drops from Master encounters instead of the current system.

Here’s a couple ideas Bungie could implement: A ghost mod or something that allows you to focus on gun or armor rolls. Maybe a token similar to the ones for Pit of Heresy. Or maybe even a vendor similar to Benedict 99-40 who can sell tokens, armor, weekly gun rolls, etc similar to xur. Or maybe even deepsighted versions of dungeon weapons.

4 RepliesNothing worse than running full dungeons and getting class items and armor when I want weapons.

1 ReplyAgreed. There should be tokens that force weapon (or armour) drops so you can farm more efficiently.

3 RepliesMember that raid vendor early d2? Really wish they’d improve on that for both raids and dungeons. Each encounter gives you…medallions (or whatever currency) that you can use to buy a random item from that activity at a the endgame vendor in the tower. Unlocks are on a knock out system. Buy using whatever currency, get a random item, Once you have everything from said activity you can start buying random rolls. To find your god OR craft it. That way if you don’t see the item dropping in the activity itself you have more control. Sick of farming for an exotic that activity has? Pop a consumable that enhances your chances of getting it.
