Is it possible you are logging into a different Steam account? Are you able to share your character select screen when you log into Steam? (Like I do [url=https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/397846250797662212/1067169798993231913/image.png]here[/url])
We're looking to see if the Bungie names are different, which would mean you're logging into a different Steam account. The account you're posting from has Bungie name: MBP#8731.

Hello! First and foremost, thank you so much for the quick response! You are absolutely correct, I have made sure I am logged in with the account of which is linked through my bungie account, however-- it is showing up with a different name than MBP#8731. I am unsure of what to do as Xbox used to be my primary console, where I moved over to playstation in the last couple of years. I know that there is a 90 day deactivation cooldown, where I no longer have an Xbox and would lose access to all of my progress.

Edited by OatsFX: 2/14/2023 4:11:10 AMYeah, I would see if you can log into the Steam account that's linked to your actual account, which your profile says it has the name "berkpryor". Edit: That way, you won't have to disable Cross Save and have to wait for any Cross Save wait timers.

And that is what the weirdest part of this entire situation was; the account name of "berkpryor" is the steam account of which I am logged into.

Steam allows for multiple accounts on a single email, as well as multiple accounts with the same display name. More than likely, rather than inputting the login credentials for your intended Steam account during the linking process, you inadvertently created a new account instead. Yes, that is a thing. Try going to the Steam website, and use their “forgot password” tool. It should show all accounts associated with your email address. If it does indeed show more than one account, then you will want to make sure that you recover the login info for that new account. You will need to login to the Steam account that has been linked to your Bungie profile, to either play the game with your cross-saved characters, or to deactivate cross-save.
