Game freezing my PC after latest update
Hello, so my PC freezes when I travel anywhere in destiny 2, for example the Tower.
My whole PC freezes but my mouse can still move for some reason. ctrl,anl,del doesn't work when frozen.
I have tried updating my drives, verifying files, reinstall, nothing of those didn't help.
PC Specs
CPU:AMD Ryzen 9 3900x
GPU:RTX 2080

I have the same problem. And i have to restart the pc manually (feels like choking it with a pillow every time). Its been a week and have done everything i can think of. I have no idea why this started now, when i have played 3 years with the same setup with no issues before this

So after too much trouble shooting i found out that my Logitech g hub was causing my game crash, it caused to fill my RAM for no apparent reason.

1 ReplyTry disabling fullscreen optimization and high dpi scaling, that worked for me. Why its freezing, i dont know, i managed to find out that the game after loading for whatever reason just starts using 100% of you ram at random. D2 uses so much of it infact that your pc’s apps restart XD. It stopped after i disabled fullscreen optimizations and high dpi scaling for whatever reason. The game still crashes if i tab out on native fullscreen, so play with Windowed fullscreen to avoid this too. Lets hope they get to fixing this soon.
