The mode -blam!- sucks. Bungo, not everyone can sink 80 hours a week into this game. Please learn to respect your customers’ time, especially considering you’re now asking $100/year for the privilege of playing D2. It’s simply getting to be… not worth it. I’m still playing inverted spire. -blam!-.
Edit: every match is sweaty as -blam!-. miserable playing experience. What happened to playing games /we/ want to play?? Oh yeah, apparently “we” means only middle aged white men according to Bungo 😂
Edit 2: ongoing feedback. Game idk what number is over. I’m dying inside. Also, I and the rest of the lobby are currently stuck in the post-game orbit screen. “Cannot access other activities” and no option to back out. Thanks for sending me this sign, Bungo

You may not enjoy it, but it's the most fun in Iron Banner myself and friends have had in a while. It's a mode that spices up control with something a bit different, forces teams to defend their zones more, and just generally changes the pace up a bit. Your personal tastes don't mean that the game mode is trash.
-
Personally , I believed they should have dropped 4 unstoppable champions in and watch that -blam!- show manifest itself . Unstoppables don’t give two shits about a bubble. Maybe throw in a Barrier one as well since we are all using pulses anyway .

1 ReplyAnd to top it all off, you won't get a single piece of armor. But here's 3 blowouts.
-
4 RepliesIts pretty chill and not as sweaty as Eruption was last season. I find regardless of which class I run that my best weapons are currently Disparity or Revision Zero, they have range and are pretty good for an overall weapon. Seems to be pretty fun with all three of my characters so far, whether I run Stasis or Void. Void for holding or wiping, Stasis for controlling and shutting down.

It always was -blam!- in destiny 2
-
Butchered it is what they did. I used to play it like crazy in d1, even after getting everything I wanted.

1 ReplyMaths is hard. And I guess exaggeration is your way of life. Even though I feel IB grind is a bit too much, your point becomes weak when you exaggerate too much, to the point where even people trying to agree to your point is turned away from you. While the IB grind is bad, it's not 80 hours a week. For 2 whole resets, you need ~15 to 16 hours assuming you LOST every single game. Less, if you won some.
-
2 RepliesIt's competitive end game, it's supposed to be a sweat fest. The young are so damn weak nowadays.
-
i like the new mode, this is the 1st time im enjoying ib on Destiny 2. that being said rep gain is atrocious
-
1 ReplyPlayed 18 games, got max light all the armor and had a good time. Not sure why everybody is complaining tbh.
-
Its fun
-
Wdym? They made it better than it has been more recently.
-
Why bring race into it ... you might need therapy.
-
I give up losing last night with team of 6. All of us are not worth for grinding for wins or so. I played for wins few days in IB till last night, it just become unplayable to me. I won’t be back in for 2nd week of IB unless it is playlists for rift or eruption.

4 RepliesThe only thing I dislike is that they removed the quickplay list and put IB there in it's place. It's almost as "if" they know it's not a popular game mode with some players and "gosh darn it, you kids are gunna eat your vegetables, and like it "! Bungie will never have a high quality PVP game mode until they actually separate them physically. Two separate games , with completely separate sandboxes that can be tweaked independently of one another. One is free to play and the other is paid . You know it's bad when streamers and content creators use the games mechanics designed for pve and then make videos bragging and laughing about " We broke fortress". Ha ha ha .. just showing others how to ruin the game experience for others . Sad

1 ReplyEdited by JD: 1/8/2023 9:17:05 PMBungie said when when they announced the iron banner title it wouldn’t be easy and it would take time and be a grind. If you can’t do it and don’t have the time then don’t do it.
-
3 RepliesNow that I’ve completed gilding for no reason, I can say that I don’t like this mode, because there’s not enough gun play elements. Play for objective is fine, but this mode now promotes too many abilities in a confined lane/area, with certain people sitting back stealing clean up kills. Not to mention shield after shield, invis after invis. If you actively challenge you will likely die to multiple pulses before you can evade.
-
My recent matches have been the other team throwing and sitting back while emoting
-
It's so laughably bad now. Every match is just a bunch of Titans dropping Ward of Dawn and Barricades on the middle zone that spawns in.
-
Don't play it if you don't like it. Wow that was easy, you're welcome 👍
-
11 RepliesMiddle age white men? What does the race and age of players have to do with iron banner?
-
Only sweaty because of the camp friendly pulse rifle meta and one click bubble shields.
-
Meta aside, the mode itself, while better than rift and eruption, is still bad. Mercy should be called if the score is 100-60, a team would have to triple cap for a portion of the match to catch up, and if they are losing by that much, odds are they can't do that.
