Every game is citans ramparts, dunemarchers or prergrines with lightning grenade spam. Why do lightning grenades hit so much harder than nearly every other grenade whilst also being the absolute easiest to use and tracks? Axion bolts do less than 1 tick of a lightning grenade and have the longest cooldown in the game. Why is the best movement ability in the game, capable of ground and airborne use with the longest reach tied to a melee ability that has an infinite number of uses and next to no cooldown as long as… its not used as a melee ability? Barricades just have far too much health, and for a game in which nearly every game mode is objective based a barricade that takes as much damage as it does is far too strong.
Considering the state warlock is in and the nerf after nerf to hunter subclasses and exotics it makes absolutely 0 sense arc titan has the toolkit and abilities it does.

Would love to see using the melee takes the charge

Yada yada yada…. Nerf nerf nerf…. Each class has broken setups and builds. OHK shoulder charge with skull fort was a thing a long time ago. Metas change. Abilities change. It may be player error not a game issue. Strand is 2 months away. You’ll have to come back and post some other tear laden post

30 RepliesHunters had shatterdive for over a year, you can stop talking now

2 RepliesEdited by Dude Where’s My Ahamkara: 1/3/2023 7:28:14 PMThey are dumbing down hunter to spread the player base out some. As someone who has maimed hunter since D1 day 1 it’s pretty easy to see. shoulder charge on the void subclass can suppress people out of super just straight out of the skill tree with no exotic but hunter being able to suppress people out of super with bombadiers is “ too strong “ lol.. another one? Okay how about heart of inmost light in its current state works with stasis buffing damage and cooldown but renewal grasps need a 3 minute cooldown for hunters.. you want another example? titan arc melee being able to 1 shot almost an entire team with ballistic slam and dunemarchers.. sound familiar? Probably Because it’s almost the same thing as shatterdive but doesn’t require a grenade charge. But we all know what happened to shatterdive.. 😢

and remove Eternity while they're at it. That map plays like -blam!-.

2 RepliesRemove all exotics, grenades, class abilities, melees, and weapons from PvP.

23 RepliesSkill issue. Have not died to a Strom Grenade since D1 when they were first introduced on Warlock. Get better

5 RepliesMy only beef is Citan’s. It’s a straight up anti-fun exotic that needs to be completely reworked.

1 ReplyYou'd just be crying about the next class, then the next, then the next, ad infinitum.

idk what you are playing my friend, All I have run into the past 8 games is Bubble titans and invis Hunters. Also, dodge is w/o a doubt the best movement option. Barricades are annoying as tho, I give you that. Warlock feels weak as rn. Bubble/barricade is dominant in anything objective based. And invis is still probably the best neutral in the game.
-
13 RepliesAlso worth mentioning is that arc titan has some of the worst rubber banding with melees in the game. Ophidian warlocks are up there too, and the game just can’t handle these longer range melees.

I think they're ideal was for each subclass to have specific strengths. Solar is a strong healing subclass. Void is kind of in the Middle with damage output and damage resistance. And Arc seems to be about Mobility and damage output. I could be wrong that could just be the builds I have set up but that's what I've observed. I have a decent PVP art build for Titan but I still seem to stick with bubble Titan in PvP. It's just what I know the best

3 RepliesI thought you were going to mention how arc titans become unstoppable when they start punching everyone.

can't wait for lightfall and that huge ability nerf, and imo they should nerf citan asap with citan max res CD is 1 min
-
9 RepliesGet Citan's tf outta here.

I think you meant storm grenades. Lightning grenades were strong in D1. I have not touched pvp in months, however I can easily imagine how annoying a titan storm nades spam build like the one I use in pve would be in pvp, and I’m not even using grenade kickstart or double bomber.

whos spamming lightning grenades

Working as intended

1 ReplyTrials could just hold best dressed contests between each team or maybe dance offs rather than fight

Edited by Ryan Foxling: 1/2/2023 11:31:03 PMThe only actual competitor for an arc titan is a stasis hunter with a build for a fast grenade cooldown and only in close quarters. And for me it's not even only arc titan, barricade is easily the best class ability right now, if you have 100 resilience you will have barricade before first one is going to expire, something should be nerfed, either hp, cooldown or uptime, I don't know what is going to be better, but at least something. Warlock rifts are practically useless if you play aggressive against someone in a rift, but you can't do anything to a guy behind barricade except throwing a titan storm nade at him. High rank players literally only use arc titan in most of their games, same goes to me, i'm a warlock main, 90% time in pvp I played on a warlock, but since last season I only play trials on arc titan, because it's just much easier and better in the current state. Last week me and my friends abused hell out of arc titan and citan's ramparts, in 9 trials tickets we lost 0 games, never happened before to me, and it probably happened only because we abused it to the maximum

I haven’t played Titan in ages, Hunter main. But, I loaded my Titan this evening (arc, with Dune’s and storm grenade) . I also went with DMT, which I usually suck with. It’s very powerful. I don’t know if it needs nerfing, I’m not a nerf fan, and I go against arc Titans all the time as a Hunter and enjoy the challenge. But I found it very strong. I would say I do prefer axion bolts to the storm grenade. Axion bolts are a finisher to an already weak opponent who has jumped behind cover. Use them that way and they are really effective. The cool-down is limiting though. The storm grenade is hilarious though in how it obliterates guardians trying to cap a zone.

Skill issue

Do you mean storm grenades? I agree they are broken with the one aspect that buffs the grenades, but the other ones are alright.
