Legacy: Ahoy and Aweigh bugged
Spiders UI is empty after listening to Spider & Eido talk so cannot progress to the next step.
Step reads: "
Legacy: Ahoy and Aweigh
Speak with Spider in the Ether Tank in the Eliksni Quarter, accessible via the Destinations tab in the H.E.L.M."

I wasn't able to trigger it via the cookie method, but it did trigger after playing a few more days and finishing some previous seasons catalyst quests. Nothing picked up from the quest kiosk or alike. BNG if you changed something server side, you may have had some success.

Can confirm, deliver a candy dead ghost from recipe list then back out of dialogue then talk to Spider again

No guarantees though. I was struggling with this situation of not triggering the "Legacy: Ahoy and Aweigh" quest with The Spider and being addressed with an empty inventory instead. However, I just made a Cookie for The spider, "Candy Dead Ghosts", whilst trying to end Eva's delivery weekly bounty. I was hoping to end the bounty when delivering it, but instead the "Legacy: Ahoy and Aweigh" triggered. 1 ReplyBought Beyond Light today, cannot progress from the same mission. Old player, returned after 2 years, just wanted to get stasis subclass. Spider is just empty with quests, while i have to talk with him in the quest menu. Platform is ps5, tried with ps4 version, same happens

This is happening to me as well. I didn't play during season of plunder, came back during this season and the mission Salvage and Salvation did not give the legacy artifact and the Spider doesn't have any quest to give.
