It’s always the loud minority in these situations.
I can’t wrap my head around the “I’m quitting” threads. This is a video game, either play it or don’t. It’s not a big issue. Grown men some of them are too.

And the amount of calories spent to type up the long winded quitting posts. Who cares? Why waste all that energy. Just quit and use that energy elsewhere

Just check the other language sections of the forum and you won't find even 5% of that moaning, vitriol and simple internet hate.

People complain because they want to see a best version of their game that they enjoy. With changes to the game that People don't like will cause them to leave. Those people who leave goodbye notes usually love the game but are just disappointed with the choices the game devs made and are tired of the decisions they have made.

Like I said, it’s a video game. If it isn’t for you then just don’t play it. Use your valuable time elsewhere. We don’t need a resignation letter about playing a video game. Think about it!
