They also didn't have to worry about making 3 more seasons worth of content either and had a lot more funding through Activision

And let’s see, who exactly created season in destiny? Looks to me like it was BUNGIE who decided to torpedo the quality of the major releases in favor of making more money.

Bungie has a lot of funding (3.6 billion) from Sony

They do have the backing of a massive publisher now, but thats recent and hasn't had any time to do anything

We have yet to get an expansion from the time that Sony acquired bungie so we do not know what kind of help the funding will give, all we know is that since Activision left the quality of content has gone down over time drastically
