It’s up to the consumer to do their research before buying a product.
It’s your money. You are responsible for how you spend it.
There is nothing for Bungie to fix here. They can’t fix people not researching the products they buy.

They can make a game that doesn't require you buy stuff that according to general gaming concensus shouldn't be relevant, considering bungie in the past has stated that previous seasons wouldn't be a necessary purchase as content would be brought forward, this is manipulation and should not be tolerated especially by people like you, this sort of lax attitude to locking players out of old content is exactly why the new light experience is crap and is driving players away at the door, and also edition upgrades that are cheaper than the whole dlc are staple for games like this and should be offered. P.s. if you have nothing constructive to add to the post please don't reply because clearly you do not understand the perspective this was made for.

The previous seasonal content is not necessary. You are confusing things you want with things you need. If you don’t own last season you can still do anything in the game not related to that season. So how’s it necessary? You are locked out of content you didn’t pay for. That’s how life works. Not everything is free. Ps. My post was constructive. Just because my post didn’t agree with your statements doesn’t mean it wasn’t constructive. You are confusing constructive with agreement. You seem to confuse a lot of words tbh.

When bungie only make weopons in one elemental type per season then make those weopons necessary for end game content that is manipulating the player base into needing something, please do not assume you don't need these things when clearly you own all of this and have not had to play without, it's this sort of toxic player behaviour that I hate, and it is this sort opinion that damages the games reputation, I bet you wouldn't be on your side of the argument of you couldn't do certain activities because of gear requirements set by toxic players like minded to yourself

You are confusing a want with a need. Name one activity where you need a weapon from last season. You can’t. You are making things up to try and prove your point. And you know that. You don’t need anything from last season. It’s not damaging anything. If you don’t buy content you don’t play content. That’s how most of life works.

If you state what weapon you are looking for, the community might be able to identify an alternative that is available without owning a previous Season Pass/expansion.
