In the last 3 mins I have received Error codes, Weasel, baboon, and centipede. Then telling me that it must be my internet. My internet is amazing, I have no issues with any other game I play and yet, “Contacting Destiny servers” then I get disconnected entirely. I feel like at this point, I could be directly connected to the server/source and still experience this. Is anyone else?

My internet is good too and I never get disconnected, do you play on wifi by any chance? Even with a monster connection, playing on wifi will still trigger problems. The first time I plugged in my ethernet was also the last time I ever had a disconnect. That was 6 years ago, destiny peer to peer servers cannot handle wifi connections.

1 ReplyGames have server issues, it's normal Granted Destiny 2 may not have the exact best

1 ReplyHave fun with even more connection issues with SBMM coming back. Every single kid demanding SBMM will want to make themselves stfu in the past soon.

What servers?

Its your internet - bungie

Probably a skill issue

6 RepliesBungie prefers to act like it's only on our end, yet every other online game I play never has even one tenth the issues. 🤷♂️

2 RepliesBecause its a requirement to have some type of disability to work at bungie

"making games is hard"

Hybrid P2P connection. Yeah, in 2022.

Completely normal phenomenon. It's never their mistake, it's always blamed on your internet

Weirdly, I do not get these messages if I switch off crossplay, but then I can't play Crucible. My internet is not the best of the best, but I don't have any issues with other games, only Destiny.

Edited by brigs_PS: 8/12/2022 5:26:48 PMI got servers at capacity after getting booted like 10 hours ago. A few friends said they also got booted.

Did you run something like Wireshark? If not - how can you know your internet is great? D2 is sensitive to packet loss and sometimes there might be issues with your ISP.

Yep. Same here.
