Raid.report=instigated toxicity
Just what the topic says..
I understand what it’s used for. I use it, but def not for what you think. I’m not the majority..
This site brings toxicity to the game. The stats clears all of it.. you want ppl to get along better. Get rid of that crappy website..
Better yet block access to the links that give these sites the feed for player stats etc…
Yes I know u can block it as a player itself for your account. That’s not the point..
1st step is to realize there is a problem.
Get rid of the small bs that starts this toxicity and work ur way up. Not to hard. If the staff @bungie put some type of effort …

I think it's ironic how you use a vocal minority to project onto the whole majority, and post yourself as [quote]I'm not like the other girls[/quote] Like dude, I use raid report to check out how long my recent runs are and how many sherpas I have recorded. A very small toxic minority actually boots you on your raid report, and here you are defaming everyone who uses it.

People check raid report if they want people to meet certain requirements. It’s not toxic to expect competence, and if they measure competence with clears that’s fine.

If me looking at someone stats to determine if they are good enough to play with me makes me toxic, so be it. I don’t mind carrying but sometimes I just want to get a fast clear. I’m not bringing a blueberry or someone who isn’t experienced with me if that’s the case

As someone who strives to be a good member of the community, I should've acted better. I do not have any remorse for my statements. This is the peak of toxicity in the community.

8 Replies[b][u]For all those looking at this thread, the tl:dr here is[/u][/b] that the op is asserting that "stats" breeding toxicity for raids, though what he is leaving out is that fact that he is entirely dead weight to every group that he joins. I don't know what the "raid.report" is, but looking at this players profile of most recently played games, it is filled with a LENGTHY list of raids he has been a part of where he seems to have intentionally wasted other people's time and effort, looking to be carried to free stuff without really doing much of anything except showing up. Either that or he has no index fingers to be able to pull the trigger on his controller, or there may be some other issue(s) involved. But if you wish to amuse yourselves, keep reading the rest of the posts...

11 RepliesYou are putting yourself in the position for LFG by not raiding with friends or clan mates. I don’t bother checking stats because I raid with players I’ve played with previously. Think about your issues. The toxicity. All this goes away when you make some friends and join a clan. Ultimately Destiny has always been best enjoyed when played with friends.

3 RepliesRaid report is useful. I'm not here to pick a newbie with zero clears. Many of us want a quick 40 minute raid done without anyone dragging the team down. I have enough Sherpa clears to know, even I need to relax.

You're just excusing people's behavior and placing blame on a website that quite literally displays the exact same things that can be found in game. People would then just require others to track what they are requiring on their emblems in game providing the same end result.

So turn your account private, and your stats will not show. Bungee has given the tools already, it is a lazy person who complains without first using the tools. Pretty simple really. Use the tools provided already.

1 ReplyI don’t see anything wrong with raid report. I never use it bc I don’t care to search someone up outside of maybe trials on occasion But it’s not raid report that’s creating the toxicity. The toxicity would be there with or without raid report
