They continually change things within the game only to retain the same net result - If you don't raid or PvP, you're basically done in about a month after the release of the new "season" *cough*DLC*cough*.
The game is not built with any PvE longevity in it. Once the initial game is beaten and all the grinding is done or cast aside out of apathy, there really is nothing left to do except a few repetitive 5-10 minute events.
But isn't that the same with about any game if you don't PvP?

I stopped raids after D1. The one from The Red War was just too contrived to be any fun. I can't say I miss doing them either.
