Lopsided mess after lopsided mess; who thought this was a good idea? I've played some terrible games in my day, but this -blam!- is definitely the worst. You pit me an admittedly above-average player against a six-stack of gods and my teammates are collectively a 0.4, 0.5? How does that -blam!- make sense? Your PvP experience is -blam!-.

Edited by eternal_napalm: 12/7/2021 10:58:58 PMIt has always been horrible. Nothing but shotgun apes. A decent engagement is hard to come by.

Match making is def terrible

4 RepliesI don't know what it is about dying in trials especially,in this game but it pisses me off more so than any other game. I never used to get salty if I died in dark souls against other players, even with the garbage lag that they have. Even getting killed 1 Vs 4 in Dark Souls 3 & then dung pied to death, is more hilarious & enjoyable than dying in trials to shatterdive hunters using Chaperone, or actually almost any hunters at this point. There's just something innately wrong & irritating about dying to people that are combing multiple massive crutch things together, to create a play style that's just absolute cancer to play against & almost impossible to beat. Chaperone + ridiculously overpowered movement + Shatterdive or if nightstalker, that headpiece that screws up my map when they dodge. It's just garbage as hell to play against, but the only answer is to not play that trash part of the game & stick to PvE only until Elden ring comes out & then I can leave forever. & That's before I even think about all the cheating players on this game, whether it be XIM users, or rapidfire/modded controllers, or Aimjunkies & other mod menu type trash....there's so many ways to cheat on this game, & more than likely I bet 80%+ of the top players are flat out cheating.

2 RepliesYes, it is really bad. Every game is a sweat-fest. Majority of maps heavy favor shotgun usage. Maybe it is crossplay but feels like there is way more lag than normal. And its not fun.
-
This is what happens when you remove SBMM.
-
3 RepliesFunny thing is, all the changes made in patch notes to ‘improve’ PvP, but fundamental problems of lag and matchmaking not addressed.
-
SBMM removed... I'm so outdated lol (haven't been playing for long). Everything makes sense now. While others are trying to find a way to improve MM, Bungie simply drops it. It's just "not in demand" as well as past campaigns. No worries, they gonna sell everything back to us after some time.
-
18 RepliesPvp is fine. You are a habitual quitter. I hate getting people like you on my team that more often than not quit mid match.
-
6 RepliesI think Hunters need a complete rework. They're to overwhelming and have to much of a upper edge in a bunch of categories. I'm aware of shatterdive getting a rework, but I don't think that will suffice at all. It's just not fun anymore..
-
1 ReplyExactly why sbmm is a terrible idea. It must favour connection! ‘Especially’ in destiny’s p2p severs
-
Thank the people who cried for cbmm
-
Always has been horrible
-
3 RepliesWell, the game has SBMM, you making up 50-70% of the skill for your team is not a rare occasion for me in any playlist. From Control to Trials, SBMM in any form can be extremely lop sided, no point in arguing about it, just accept it and equip what you want to mess around with and treat the match as training.
-
Agreed, another reason why Bungie won’t get anymore of my money.
-
Play halo It’s far better than this games pvp. Bungie doesn’t care about pvp. I’m so glad I have halo

I can barely stand crucible after paying Infinite. I used to think crucible was pretty fun too before Infinite.
-
So true.

1 ReplyI played a match earlier where someone had a 34 efficiency on Anomaly and the good players say that I'm not supposed to bring up how that person was moving around during that match. Some people are just sooooo good that they don't die on Anomaly. Everyone was moving around like that, that's what that was. I'm just mad because I'm delusional dogwater.

3 RepliesAs someone who’s always enjoyed destiny’s PvP, even through the lows, yeah this season is getting ugly. The connection issues with the introduction of cross play is just terrible. I’ve always praised destiny for its smooth gunplay but that means nothing when people are teleporting and glitching all over the place. Lately halo infinite has stolen me away from destiny. I love it’s PvP, a real breath of fresh air for any FPS players honestly. Give it a try if you haven’t

You know what leads to lopsided games? people who quit..

3 RepliesOMG Like wow This has never been said before here in the forumns 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Thank you so much for bringing this to light Much appreciated guardian

3 RepliesEdited by Unbrandedpie: 12/7/2021 2:40:58 AM“Admittedly above average” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Bungo ain't gonna do nothing about it.They refuse to made simple QOL changes like vault space or the limit of prisms & shards. They ain't gonna improve pvp.
-
Have you tried using your guns or space magic to shoot the other players first?
