Cool, man.
While you're looking for something to do next week, the rest of us will be enjoying the new dungeon.

How long is that going to last a week. Good purchase imo.
-
Looking for something to do? I have other games to play lol. I’ll happily enjoy my other games that don’t charge me $35 for an hour worth of content and a ton of unnecessary cosmetics lololol enjoy supporting scummy business decisions. Would love to see your Bungie budget in a years time when everything’s price is jacked up
-
Your overuse of "scummy", "greed" and "shill" gives the impression that you're just a child. Take a look at that link I provided above. You'll have plenty to do while the rest of us are going after Gjallarhorn 2.0.
But I'm sure you'll cave in and buy the 30th Anniversary Pack anyways, so see you next week for the new dungeon!
Your disregard of anything I say while defending a company making gross monetization decisions in a game that’s already heavily monetized proves you’re nothing but a child. Give your parents back their credit card and go to bed.

Edited by Error Code: Skill Issue: 12/1/2021 3:08:14 AMCrazy how some people actually enjoy this game and are willing to invest money to keep playing it. Only a child would think $100/year is a lot of money. That's less than my annual Netflix subscription. That's not even my cell phone bill for a month. My coffee budget for 2 weeks. You do you, kiddo. Enjoy those F2P games. Pretty sure the last time my parents actually paid for something for me, it was before you were even born.

I don't drink Starbucks. 1 dollar coffee for me
I don't drink Starbucks. 1 dollar coffee for me
I don’t drink Starbucks either. I drink Philz or Blue Bottle Coffee.

Wanna know how I *actually* know you’re a child? You’re still pushing the “lol poor” route. I’ve bought every expansion up until this point, but charging over $25 to the players for THEM to celebrate YOUR anniversary? While the price tag doesn’t fit the amount of gameplay content you get? Nah mate, I can’t support this anymore. If we got a raid, or maybe a storyline, I dunno. Make the price tag fit the amount of content, not just shoving cosmetics down our throats.

My name is what it is for a reason, by the way.
I’ve bought every expansion up until this point

While the price tag doesn’t fit the amount of gameplay content you get?
And for the price you've invested in both D1 and D2, you have put in over 2,000 hours into these games. I'd say you got your money's worth. https://wastedondestiny.com/2_4611686018436648655
but charging over $25 to the players for THEM to celebrate YOUR anniversary?
When you finally find someone who is able to tolerate you long enough to get married to you, we expect you to give us gifts on your anniversary. As I said before, you do you, but the rest of us will be enjoying the new dungeon next week.

$100 is inherently expensive for a video game for a year lol. Most games cost $80 and have hours on hours worth of content, and generally come with free updates, or DLC. Bungie is a live service game that comes with expansions and free events, yet this event is paid for because Bungie is becoming greedier, clearly thanks to their shills I certainly have. $25 for a dungeon and a gun? Nah mate. I’ll play that dungeon maybe 4 or 5 times, that’s what, 2-3 hours? $25 for 2-3 hours worth of content? When I could spend $100 for the expansion + seasons and get a year worth of content? Again, the price tag doesn’t fit what you get. Insults me, yet I’m the child lol And you do realize the pack costs $25 because there’s a bunch of cosmetics you have to get if you want the dungeon/Ghorn right? Did you genuinely think the dungeon/gun were worth $25 alone? My god, I gotta stop arguing with people like you. You’d spend a million dollars on Luke Smiths turds

Are those $80 games also live service games?
I certainly have. $25 for a dungeon and a gun? Nah mate. Instead of making a big deal of it like a child throwing a tantrum, just move on and play something else.
Insults me, yet I’m the child lol
Ironic, considering you keep calling everyone who disagrees with you a "shill." My god, I gotta stop arguing with people like you. You’d spend a million dollars on Luke Smiths turds
I'm aware of what the 30th Anniversary Pack comes with. I purchased it twice for myself, and 4 more times for the most active players in my clan. Some of us actually enjoy this game and are willing to pay for the additional content. If you don't, then feel free to spend your time and money elsewhere.
-
Dude you paid for the ghorn twice Even you should thinks that's over done
-
Dude you paid for the ghorn twice Even you should thinks that's over done
I paid for content that allows me to obtain Gjallarhorn. I never paid for Gjallarhorn itself. You don’t seem to understand that part.
-
I mean, I enjoy the game and have been purchasing all DLC up until now. You can enjoy a game and support its developers while also realizing when they’re making scummy decisions for the sake of being greedy. In fact, people who just buy everything blindly without caring about the price to content ratio aren’t supporting the developers in any meaningful way, they’re promoting their greediness. When Bungie sees that they can get away with this type of greediness, they’ll continue. Soon enough, strikes and raids will also be paywalled, and not just tied to seasons/expansions. Why? Because of people like you. I’m not the type of person who will cause this game to die. You are.
Soon enough, strikes and raids will also be paywalled, and not just tied to seasons/expansions.
This is called a "Slippery Slope Fallacy", and it is a logical fallacy for a reason.
I’m not the type of person who will cause this game to die. You are.
Ah, yes - because your soon-to-be generous contribution of $0 will do so much to keep this game alive.

Hey, telling the devs they’re making a mistake is much better than supporting devs for making the mistake. Support their ridiculous pricing for minuscule amounts of content, but when you’ve gotta buy literally everything in the game, just remember you’re the reason why nothing is free anymore.
-
Hey, telling the devs they’re making a mistake is much better than supporting devs for making the mistake.
“Mistake” is subjective. Clearly, you think it’s a mistake because you want free stuff. Good to know since that link I originally provided will actually be useful for you.
Support their ridiculous pricing for minuscule amounts of content, but when you’ve gotta buy literally everything in the game, just remember you’re the reason why nothing is free anymore.
VoG was free...? The free six-man activity being released either next week or in Feb...? Content takes time, money and resources to create, and I’m fine with compensating them for making it.
-
No, the mistake is charging players for content that’s always been free for an event that’s meant to thank players (:
-
No, the mistake is charging players for content that’s always been free for an event that’s meant to thank players (:
That's your opinion, and you're allowed to have one. Just don't make the mistake of thinking your opinion = fact. As I said earlier, the rest of us will be enjoying the new dungeon next week while you're looking for another game to play. Or maybe you'll give in and end up buying the content.
-
The division 2 is coming out with some great content soon. Hope it's not to expensive.
-
Same goes to you mate. But locking the most iconic weapon in the franchise behind a cosmetic pack for an event that’s meant to celebrate the players is a scummy decision, no matter the game, no matter the devs. I actually just bought Tales of Vesperia for like $13 on the PS store, so I think I’m good for a few weeks lmao. But thanks for thinking about me! Hope you enjoy your one dungeon and gun for $25!
-
I'll be sure to bookmark this thread so I can post a screenshot of my Gjallarhorn next week.

Go a head cant wait to see how the B-team screws it up
-
Go a head cant wait to see how the B-team screws it up
You just sound like a bitter child because your parents won’t give you the money to buy the 30th Anniversary Pack.
-
Sure thing! It’s not like you’ll be the only one to have it though, so there isn’t much point to. Unless you truly care about me so much <3
