Please nerf the range of the chaperone it has the range of a handcannon. It's meant to be a shotgun close quarters not a ranged weapon.

3 RepliesI say no to every nerf, even shatterdive. Because nerf is cure for symptom, not for the root cause. Buff everything that is not used. And/ormake weekly or bi-weekly rotation of weapon buffs only in PvP, for least used weapon types.

2 RepliesRange is fine. Aim assist isn't. With the amount of people doubling up with keyboard and mouse + controller aim assist it gets pretty atrocious.

6 RepliesI'd agree. With road born it's got a 19 meter ohk range. For comparison a legendary max range slug shotgun is right around 16-17 meters. Throw in extremely generous aim assist and accuracy and you have a monster. I think they should drop the range with road born to 17 meters and then reduce accuracy and aim assist slightly.

3 RepliesIt is a single shot slug that is fired, And you need to be very accurate with it to get a 1 shot kill, No different than a sniper. Play your range when you get killed by one, Change up your style to counter.

It’s a slug shotgun. It only will OHK with a precision shot. If you miss, you’re absolutely boned (unless your enemy lacks thumbs or brains). Let’s be realistic here. A slug from a shotgun is damned accurate to an extremely long range with a good shooter (I’ve seen steel hit at 100+ yards)

Are you kidding ? Chappy must be a precision shot to OHK and you can counter it with, fusions, slowing, suppressing, staggering, or duality. Plus more.

1 Replynot even close. As a HC main, though you have more range then a non-precision SG, it is nowhere close to the range of even the crappiest rolled HC. The damage fall off is quite pronounced, and if you're tired of getting killed by it, then when in Rome...

It’s aim assist is a little high. The main problem is that Shotguns and Fusions remove most SMGs and sidearms effectiveness. Both weapon types need a bit more ease of use and the ability to challenge close range special weapons (Shotguns and fusions). Also, they need to either buff or put High Impact fusion back where they were before this season. They feel terrible right now, and high range fusions keep Chaperone in check.
