Please increase stack sizes of prisms and golf balls
Deleting upgrade materials to collect upgrade materials to reset ranks is pointless.
Increase stack sizes or remove prisms and golf balls from the vendor rank up rewards and replace them with something more desirable.

11 RepliesI don't agree with removing them from vendor rank up rewards, but I do agree with increasing the stack size. Ever since Season of Arrivals I've had a second stack taking up space in my post master for all three of my characters. It's gotten to the point that once I do use some I don't bother to collect them because it's far more beneficial to just keep that empty space in my inventory in case I need collect some from a vendor. That's kind of ridiculous. Claiming rewards should never be a negative experience. At worst it should be neutral, but never negative. Even now I have golf balls to collect from my season pass but I'm hesitant to do so. That's a problem right there.

i agree they need to increase the stack size or at the very least give the ability to store stacks in your vault

2 RepliesThis issue comes up weekly. The real question is…”why are we not getting gear worth master working?” I’ve said this before, my best armor is 3-4 seasons old. If I got better armor to drop I’d gladly use my materials and happily grind for more. If armor stats are going to remain capped at 65-68 then at some point we’re going to have the best rolled armor available in every slot for every occasion, just a matter of time. If someone is holding on to 50 of something or 10 of something their just going to hold on to 75 or 20. A cash in system of some kind is definitely needed. Or some other aspect of the game that uses upgrade materials as currency because I don’t think their going to allow armor to drop with high enough stats to give us 100 across the board, that would create a whole new set of problems.

As such, Bungie expects players who grind high level activities to switch affinity on their gear for GMs and Master VoG, every week. I could extend that to switching for playing pvp too. For every activity, every week, players who want to use the different options in the game, have to spend tens of ascendant shards, hundreds of thousands of glimmer (yeah artefact I’m looking at you), for the sole purpose of equipping the most appropriate loadout. Hence, two ways out: - once unlocked, artefact changes and gear affinity switch should be free, including mods. - provide unlimited reserves of ascendant shards, prisms, and glimmer.

I’d rather just do away with so many upgrade mats and have it just be cores. Increase core stack size to 9999. Change prism and shard drop sources to small pile of cores (10) and a large pile (100) I just see no reason to have 3 different mats for something so basic

2 RepliesNot really a problem to 99 % of the players. Only GM and Flawless trials farmers (which are streamers in the most cases) would profit from this change. Most other players won't even collect enough golf balls to masterwork one set of armor. So who cares smh

I was thinking that instead they could create some other sort of use for them. Weapon re-rolling perhaps? Oh did you farm that nightfall for an adept weapon and got a trash roll? Here, you can spend 3 golf balls for a re-roll. Although that's quite expensive I think it'd be a pretty cool feature.

There shouldn’t be a limit on how many of any resource us players can have. Lemme stockpile, it’s not gonna make me stop running gms, as exotic rolls would be next for me to hunt down

They could easily double it and I don't think it would take away from their rarity or difficulty it takes to obtain them. And people would still try and farm harder content to get them so players would stay engaged. Wouldn't take away from the game or intention at all. Do it Bungie. You won't! And -blam!- sell double vault space. I'd buy that in a heartbeat!!!

Remove the need for masterworking armour! 3 characters with 5 slots each, 4 armour affinities. Then Exotic swapping for different game modes, 3 golf balls for the last node! If you're actually optimising your perks/stats you need every space you can get for expensive mods, plus the +2 to each stat.

And spoils. Problem is you need 240 to get an exotic ...but... you can only spend them if you have a cypher. So if you have 230 spoils on Tuesday and do the raid but don't have a cypher any spoils above 240 that you earn are sent to the post where they are in danger of being lost forever due to blue drops until Xur comes around so you can get his quest to get a cypher to spend 240 spoils to pick up the extra spoilsin your post (Also add auto decrypt blues please)

2 RepliesWhy do you need so many? They are fairly easy to earn, and you don't even use the ones you got. we can store 9999 of some things... so it is possible. This is the reason why they keep it low, it's so that your decisions have meaning. If you basically had unlimited storage, you can level up everything without pause.

That, or allow us a more efficient way of breaking them down into smaller components without having to repeatedly masterwork junk then dismantle it. Edit: In addition to an increased stack cap, we should be able to hold multiple stacks of prisms/shards at once too.

We need a vendor in game to convert them to legendary shards or enhancement cores. Right now you can upgrade blue armors and dismantle them for cores however it costs a load of glimmer to do it constantly.

As a pvp player, yes. There are so many builds that I want to explore, but it’s hard when I run out of golf balls from masterworking exotics.

9 RepliesNot necessary. With full stacks of shard and prism you could MW a full set of armor and a exotic. Why do you need to be able to do more than that in one go? Being able to horde more than that trivialises the whole system.
